do it in the dark after about 11 hours if ur on 12/12 still. But if u want just bring in another light after ur 12/12 dark instead of what u use and do it anytime then too.

i did that closet thing where plants are put into dark just before harvest for 48 hours while doing the other half finished 'normal' and noticed no difference.
try it...maybe you'll see a change. it can't hurt anything...

Ok thanks ... : )
So its best to cut it down when its dark and when its cooler right? Is it something to do with the roots or something??? I've heard that its best to cut them down after they settle down for a few hours, or first thing in thing in the morning? Just wondering why that is ?
Mine looks like its finished today but i'm not sure of the exact date i started it all the 12/12 cycle???..lol I can't remember if i started it Jan 29 or Feb 4th..I have my days mixed up
If i did start it on the 4th is it ok to cut'er down now? because if i did start it on the 29 th then its finished right? if it was the 4 th and i cut'er down now will it matter so much? because she really looks like she's finished today.

i usually harvest after the dark period...but try it at different times. i honestly don't think it matters as long as the flowers are ripe. i use the trichomes as a timetable for harvest...appx 10% turn amber-red, it's time. other's use the hairs...but i've found hairs will turn faster under strong light/sun and intense heat and is not a sign of maturity. (i'm in the desert sw and it's hot n sunny all summer...your environment may be different)

Light degrades the THC. Harvest in the dark period before the lights come on. Personally i wait for about 20% of the thrichomes to turn amber before i harvest. Others harvest with less and more amber thrichomes. It is a personally preference when to harvest.
