I have been charged with a felony for the cultivation of four plants. I have a valid prescription and grow my own medication and have for a while. If I had thought that what I was doing was illegal, I would not have been involved with it. Bail was $35,000 and I paid, I have a home, family, and bills.
The police where there due to a domestic disturbance. I threatened to cut the bed in half, wife called the cops. I know, I fucked upā?¦.
An attorney has assured me that this will be cleared up but this is an expense and major liability. This could threaten a life that I have worked very hard for.
Legal advice would be appreciated.

im not a lawyer, but i promise you all of your charges will be dropped.ive had friends get caught with many many more plants and processed pot than you could imagine.and every time the chages have been dismissed.the plant and county limit in most places is 6 mature or 12 immature, however read sb420 and you can clearly see that there is no real limit on what you can have.if you were arrested by state police"im assuming l.a.p.d" then nothing will happen.thay work for the state of california and must abide by there rules and regulations, those regulations say you have every right to grow and thats the end of it.if the feds busted you thats a different story.good luck man

the reason you were busted, is standard police procedure, these days ... IF there is another crime being committed (your domestic disturbance), then you will be arrested for the pot, too ... but, you mentioned talking to an attorney, that is EXACTLY what you should be doing, not asking online stoners for advice ... invest in a lawyer, your domestic violence will remain on your record for life, with some of these crazy new laws ... I have a neighbor, that went to jail for a few weeks, and is on probation for 10 years, as a 'domestic terrorist', because he got mad, and ripped HIS OWN telephone out of the wall :wtf: ... how fucked up, is that ? ... learn to control your temper, it's only hurting YOU ... :smokin:

This person gave a talk at Oaksterdam University and is a lawyer that specializes in this issue. He was quite impressive and very professional and gave a great talk during our legal class.
Just remember rule #1 Never say anything to a police officer for any reason. They use everything you say against you and they spin and lie their asses off.
Say you want to speak to an attorney and say nothing else.
Best Wishes
Here is this contact info. He works all over the state.

what was your wife thinking???
what were you thinking???
you dont call the cops to come over when you are growing pot and not expect to get busted. maybe its your fault for causing the disturbance, or maybe its hers for calling the cops, but both of you were at fault, regardless of your doctors note, the cops do not care
my advice would be to either grow somewhere else or to get a divorce. it sounds like you are having problems but jail time is not another one you need
