What does everybody like to do when they use DXM? I have tripped on it once before but just sat at a party, I want to do something different this time. Public or private doesn't matter. Any ideas? By the way, this will be a ~350mg dose... whatever is in the 4oz bottles, dxm only, duh. :D

Yeah, I'm definately gonna find some bud. I wanted to trip in the daytime though. My last trip was at night and mostly indoors.

Chloroform is a good extraction solvent for some organics. It can be prepared from bleaching powder that contains Cl2(s) and acetone.

Make 5g of fresh bleaching powder into a smooth paste with 10mL of water and transfer it to a small bottle. Add 2mL of acetone in small portions with a dropper shaking after each addition and cooling if necessary. Carefully distill mixture until oily drops cease to pass over. Transfer distillate to separatory funnel and wash with a medium concentrated solution of baking soda and then with water(if available dry solution with anhydrous magnesium sulfate). Redistil and collect the fraction between 60 - 62C. (Chloroform is denser than water so when doing liquid-liquid extraction the organic chloroform layer will be below the aqueous layer.

Note if at any time when working with bleach or chlorine you notice the evolution of a dark greenish gas, evacuate work area immediatly and completly air out lab space completely to prevent chlorine gas poisoning.

Unfortunatly bleaching powders are nowadays more and more being made without chlorine. Also companies are not listing all the ingredients for this reason which is a problem in case someone has an allergic reaction to one of the product components.
You can't even get a godamn chemistry set anymore. They make everything out of fucking cheap plastic instead of nice glass.

I dont know what the hell it was, maybe the combo on dimenhydrinate and pot? it may help if I knew what type of weed I smoked... But it was a really different trip, much more psychoactive then usual, and I was in a mall..

I kept running into people I knew, Im sure they think im really weird or something now.

But yeah just try not to get too freaked out.. It can be fun to have that little suspense, but dont have a panic attack
