Hi Chaps,

I've got a quick question to ask and your advice would be much appreciated!

I'm planning on using my cupboard for my flowering cycle... 4 plants in total and was wondering which lighting setup would be best to go with regarding heat issues... ... which would you advise.....

I was thinking either: 1 x 70hps (3600 lumens) & 4x 65watt Cfls (3600 lumens each) Total lumens 18000 lumens 4500 per plant

or 1 x 250 watt HPS (approx 28000 lumens? 7000 per plant)

I've heard HPS can get really hot!

Which setup would you reccommend?

Cupboard dimensions are 60cm x 60cm x 120cm (2ft x 2ft x 4ft)

Cheers!

Can you fit a cooltube + fan for it?

I ran a 400w hps in a 57x57x170cm closet with temps on the high side, but still within range. I had a cooltube and a 220m3/h tube fan with carbon filter, I'm thinking about getting another fan tho, one for the cooltube and one for the carbon filter/exhaust.

Thanks Guys!

My start up budget is rather limited.... I was thinking I'll go with the 70watt Hps and see what kind of heat comes off it..... then I can always add another 70watt Hps and CFLs or envirolites.... I'd rather do this as opposed to starting out with the 250watter hps and having major heat problems....this way I can add and subtract till I get the correct balance of lumens, heat etc....
