I have 5 plants of alaskin ice growing & also 5 plants of nevberry and 3 ak47, i was wondering why the ak47 has already budding very well at 3 weeks into our flowering season here & yet the big plants are 12 foot high and huge but they only have the white hairs now.I have been feeding them tiger bloom & big bloom for around 6 weeks now and i figured they would all start budding around the sametime.I'm kinda getting worried that the stavia plants are getting to big & could be spotted from the air.I have grown many times but i have never quiet had any get this big before they was finish budding. So is there anything i can do to speed up budding process with another fert or should i just let them go.I notice the ak47 today had hairs already turnning red on them.

I don't know about speeding up budding outdoors. Nutes don't control that, light does. Folks have put covers over plants to lessen the amount of daylight hours on the plants but thatt can be a give-a-way. If your concerned about being seen then pull the plants over tying the top down to the trunk. This should not hurt yield at all. Best of luck with the harvest.

Yea i knew around August 10th here our days start getting shorter & that's when our flowering usually begins, but i was some what stumped on how 3 plants thats around 6 ft or 7ft could havd such nice buds on them & the big ones have just starting. So you think i can tie them down by bending them over when there so tall?I had to stake them up they got so tall the dang trunks on these rascals are like 4 inches around.I'd hate to bend them and break them.

personally I wouldnt bend 'em.. but that's just me because I dont have that much experience with that technique. And size really has nothing to do with when they sense the light change.. It's all strain dependent really.

Bending your plant is a sweet deal. I have 3 huge GDP and when I bent them the bottom stems started racing for the sky. One week one way and the switch. Becareful not to bend it to far. Must check in daily to see if you put stress on the plant. It develope more larger colas on my plant. C... PICS

They are nice buds,i was also wondering should i prun off some of the big fan leaves i used to do that, but i read on here last year not to do that.I'm going in tomorrow or friday & see if i can get some pic's of them,so u can see what i'm talking about but i'm like a couple of you i think it's the strain.Should i keep using the tiger bloom & big bloom on them,i have almost used 3/4 of a bottle so far,i thought i would use the potash balls at the end of sept so it will feed it out untill i can put the molasses around two weeks to left in flowering. Those potash balls will put that crystal sugar look on all the buds when i used it before. So sticky tho u can hardly handle it lol.

I read that ya shouldn't pic off the big leaves and this year i haven't. But i can understand ya want light to get to your buds. Well after all the reading iv done im going to take 2-3 maybe a week off to get some direct light to my buds. Iv read this would be the way to do it if you must. I think i only have about 4 to pick, so thats not to bad. But, in the other plants i got 1 here 1 there and i think over all it will help my bud size, so im going with a few.
BTW do ya got two threads cuz im thinkin i just posted in your thread and dont see it, yet a bunch of others have in here?
