I am new too. I am from Belfast, I do not use cannabis myself but my sons do. I am a gardener and would prefer to grow it for them, than they buy it from dealers, who in the north are connected with paramilitary murderers. As a gardener, I take great exception to any government telling me what plants I can grow in my garden. ( I have spent many years of my life campaigning against unjust laws in a totally different field.) My husband has sciatica and arthritis and could benefit from medicinal cannabis. Bad laws were made to be broken.
I have a lovely, large, male growing beside my pond, he is of course as useless as most males of any species, but gorgeous to look at, surrounded by all my other lovely, legal flowering plants and tomatoes and chillies - he fits in beautifully and at almost 6 foot tall in his pot he is still inconspicuous. We are not sure of the sex of the two smaller plants, but are living in hope.
All three were grown from seeds which came out of a bag of grass - so I have no clue what variety/strain they are - they were germinated in the vivarium of my Grandchildren's Chinese Water Dragon. I always hoped my sons would take an interest in horticulture - but that was not exactly what I had in mind. lol :)
