I am a medical patient... I did not use during pregnancy and for the first 3 months, but went back to using around three months of my babies age there is not a whole of research about marijuana's effect on babies but After a breastfeeding mother uses marijuana, THC is evident in her baby's urine and stools. Infants exposed to marijuana via breast milk will test positive in urine screens for long periods (2-3 weeks).

I researched to see what I could find about intake during breastfeeding but only found mostly information on how it can affect a mothers ability to parent! I would find it categorized with drugs like cocaine or heroine....
I personally feel that breastfeeding while smoking is less harmful than formula...
