The first article of our inherited tradition, implicit in American thought from the beginning until a few years ago, was this: Government is the responsibility of a self-governing people. That doctrine has been swept away; only the elders remember it.

Now, in the name of democracy, it is accepted as a political fact that people are the responsibility of government.the above quote is a concise explanation of the mindset that has led us to this sorry pass. the fact that it was written over fifty years ago is a testament to the foresight of some and the willing blindness and self-centered cowardice of the masses. we have allowed our capacity for self-reliance to be swept away by a government intent on dominion and have thanked our would-be masters at every turn.

Exactly. Certain political parties are pushing that agenda more than others, but they're all pushing it the wrong way (in terms of individual freedom).

The only ones actually working to restore freedom don't have the power to accomplish that so long as the people stay asleep and tuned into the notion that there's only two parties to choose from.

Worse, they're actually foolish enough to think the one that claims to be on their side actually is the better of the two. That one, the one that is the "champion of the little guy" is merely his enslaver.

Most impressive! I've long looked for a place to comfortable exchange thoughts on these things. That is so true, its a smoke and mirrors scheme...polarize the populace with the notion that Party X and Leader Y will come and save the US and then the World from all its crisises, and then...Zero is the result.

As long as the public believes there is only 2 viable parties, which it has been constructed that way intentionally so that no matter who wins, the "Elite" win. It just gives the impression of an alternative, who is nothing but the same piece of sour candy in a different color wrapper.

This is beginning to be seen-their latest gyrations are directed more toward the world public in general, so in this clever way the non-compliant ones like ourselves and all the others who have a mind and question wholesale slavery (figuratively....picture a lot of cattle in a chute, blindly ambling on. ECONOMIC slavery, and soon other forms of tricks and manifestations) are marginalized and further supressed, which leads the general population to question and marginalize non-conforming folks like us..its all so carefully engineered.

Its a big hate machine built of false hopes/promises, trickery, deception, violence , etc etc. OK. I'll shut up, damn I got started up, I could go on and on. Its really most fascinating once you realize whats really going on and especially the 420 connection and why its been supressed in the context of social control.

There's a typical progression to how a free society becomes enslaved. First, they tell you that you can't say certain things or voice certain opinions. We see that today with political correctness. You are not allowed to criticize your leaders and the authorities. In our country today, you're called a racist or a terrorist or a right-wing extremist. Then you have the false-flag attack against the homeland: Pearl Harbor, the Reichstag fire, and 9-11. The people respond and just hand over their freedom to the government in exchange for protection. The government sets up the agencies and infrastructure to lock down the state in martial law. The Dept. of Homeland Security is now being turned inward on the real "terrorists", the American people. The government can then take the youth away from their parents just as Mao and Hitler did. Mao had the little kids running around with their books and turning in their parents. Everyone knows about the Hitler youth. Now we have compulsory government service coming to fruition with the Obama Youth Corps. It's all right there in the pages of history, and it's happened time and again.
