I will be growing for the first time in a month or two, and I need to buy something that will be easy to grow but still potent. Also i was wondering if anyone knows of good guides for 1st timers? I am still figuring out what i need to buy so, i am an extreme NOOB! thanks!:rastasmoke:

As far as strain, that's a personal choice.
I'd avoid a pure sativa or an outdoor strain indoors for a beginner. Maybe a fast maturing strain like early girl in order to get more grow cycles in less time, to help you learn quickly.

Hello everyone,
in my humble opinion, one of the easiest strains to grow for a beginner are Skunk #1 ( good yield and quality ) That strain will do well even if you'll make a couple of mistakes somewhere down the line. Another one is Mango. Also very hardy and easy to grow. Good luck !

For my first grow I grew White Satin from Mandala seeds. Its a low odor, low light, easy plant to grow for beginners. I grew it with CFLs and got a little under an ounce with one plant. My friend who grow with HPS lamps were very impressed.
Its not the strongest, but it was strong enough. Good luck!

I had good luck with Master Kush from Dutch Passion. Only downside is there is not much flavor or smell to the buds, but they are plenty potent. Very forgiving to beginners and she's a high yielder once you get it figured out.
