if a sample passes the initial immunoassay test at 50 ng, does it get tested with the gc/sm at the 15 ng threshold? Or is it ruled a negative then and there?

If the urine sample tests negative on the initial IA, the testing is over right then as a "pass" . The GC/MS is only done to confirm any positives that showed up on the initial IA. :cool:
