LED makers...

Looking for some help in regards to some LEDs I want to experiment with.

I read somewhere here that the maker of the LEDs make a difference so I want to know if these are good ones..

The red ones are made by High Power Opto.
The blue ones are made by Bridgelux USA.

Are these good LEDs? If not which makers should I look for? And if so, how can I be sure these are the true makers? ( i ask this because the guy with the light for sale is telling me these are the makers of the LEDs in it so I dont know for sure)
