Hi i have one white rhino plant that is about a week into flowering, yet i have to move it inside for privacy purposes. Do you think that one 150 watt hps bulb will be adequate lighting for this plant inside?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

as long as your grow area is not too big (bigger than say, 3 sq ft) you should be fine. although, more is better. so you might drop a couple of CFLs down around your plant.

It should be great...15000 Lumens per plant is awesome!

Thanks for the replies!!! What about a 150 watt CFL light? Would that be just as good as the HPS light?:rastasmoke:

No - the HPS light rays are able to travel further without losing intensity as quick as CFLs..

That's the reason you have to keep CFLs about 1-3 inches away, and HPS can hang a foot or two above the plant

I'm going the 150w HPS route supplemented by a couple of 40w CFLs for one plant

the only 150W CFLs i could find put out ~8,000 lumens. the 150W HPS should be ~15,000.

so not even close.

Im running 6 20w cfls and a 70w HPS and my ladys doing well, so if you can add a cfl or two anyway (it cant hurt)
