I live in florida and use mary jane for muscel pain and spasums due to the muscular dystrophy. I have realy been blessed to have a way to treat my pains and aches with MJ. One problem is that i must also take prescription meds for cronic pain. ( I was taking 10mg of valium several times a day at the age of ten years old). that was just the start of the progresion and as i am now 46 years old I have used many, many types of meds to help me live a somewhat normal life. My current doctor has not subjected me to a piss test, (yet) but the hand writing is on the wall and i know from other patients that if u come up dirty, your gone ! I just cant take it any more, never knowing if this is the last time. If there is anyone that can help me find a plaace to live in norcal. I can spend approx. 150K to 200K. If u live in a area that has worked for you or know of soneplace that has I would really like some help to get me to somewhere where i can use my MJ and not have all the hassels. Thanks in advance for any help !

You should consider the Sacramentol area. It's hot but it is a dry heat. It does not get to cold here. You are 1 1/2 hours from SF and 2 hours from Lake Tahoe.

If ur looking for a quiet place in the hills/upper valley, butte county is the place. Chico, CA is the biggest city in the area but there are many surrounding smaller towns that are great for outdoor and mj friendly. The only downside is there are no dispensaries but Sacremento is only hour away. Butte county allows 12 plants and up to a pound dried. Its a really kicked backed area, im not saying u should move there but like phatsesh said anywhere from SF up is awesome. Oh and clearlake is pretty much the same physical terrain but there are dispensaries there. HOpe this help:thumbsup:

For everyone giving me ideas as to where to go, I can't thank you enough.
Like I said I only have one shot at this and can't afford to get it wrong, so it's a really important that I make the right move.
Thanks again Walalyy :)

One small correction, you can have 12 seedlings, or 6 mature plants, they define mature as the time when you can tell the sex of the plant.

humboldt county is a really good spot, people are nice (in most areas), MJ is Very abundant and many people are public about their medicinal useage.
hope i could help some!

To know where NOT to go- skip Siskiyou county! It has a bad sheriff who has proclaimed that he will bust legit medical growers if their plants even LOOK like they will produce over 8 oz! :(

Thanks Storm Crow, I really haven't thought about places that i should avoid, but if anyone has had problems like some of the posts above, please shout out about places to stay away from. Like I said I only have one shot at this and it has to be right. I am really looking for a place where I don't have neighbors right next door! And i'm really parinoid about everything, medical legal or not !
Thanks again, Walalyy

The Mother Lode foothills are MJ friendly for the most part. If you stay low key there is rarely any hassle.
Good Luck with your move!
