Saliva Drug Test Question

I know that im probably worried over nothing but just want to make sure! I was a daily smoker and stopped about 20 days ago. I had to take a pre employment saliva drug test. Now even though i havent smoked at all in about 20 days ive been around it. Last night i was in a room with people smoking and then i took the test this afternoon. Could being around second hand marijuana smoke cause a positive saliva test?

No way. You are as clean as a baby. Take your test and don't smoke until you receive the good news just to be safe. Your saliva would be clean easily after 72 hours. Good luck...:thumbsup:

Alright cool thanks for the response! just wanted to make sure cause i am around the second hand smoke quite often. I remember a long time ago reading that you cant really fail any type of drug test from second and smoke because there isnt enough thc in the remaining smoke? haha I think thats what it was.

also would it make a difference that the test was a send away test to a lab and not one that just shows up and you can see the results on the spot?

No difference. If you haven't smoked in 20+ days their is no way a saliva test would come up positive.
