Hey guys and gals! I'm back! Long time no see! I missed it here dearly and hope all is well for everyone.

I haven't been around for a while as school and all that fun stuff has been keeping me super busy.

I am joining the Army now and have been accepted as a Military Police Officer (Me a cop? Who woulda thunk it? haha). I will be going to basic training in about 6 or 7 months. I am very excited.

I missed you all sooooo much! I can't wait to get back into the swing of things!

John and I broke up 6 months ago.

I was never deported.

And my cancer is not a problem as I have been in remission for 7 years and the military only requires you to be in remission for 5 years.

And I'm still smoking now but I have to quit soon which sucks. But I feel it's worth it.

Well I always wanted to be in the military because I'm from a military family (my Dad was in the Navy, my Brother the Marines and my Grandfather was in the Army). But then I got cancer and figured I was fucked.

So a few months ago I got a call from the recruiter to take the ASVAD(hope thats how you spell it). I told him I had cancer but he said I was good because of the whole 7 year remission thing. So I took the test and got a 86 and when he asked me what I wanted to be I said MP. It pays well and I believe I will be good at it.

i know what you mean, i felt the same way. its a good decision, the military opens up a lot of doors. you'll make some great friends along the way as well.

btw, most cops start out as decent people thinking they want to do
good but, over time, they become assholes who think everyone who
isn't a cop is a scumbag skel.

you can't even hate them for it because, for them, other cops are the
only people they can trust! ...everyone else distrusts them!

and don't take me wrong hon, your joining the military is something
you should be admired and respected for, ...it's just, i like you too
much to see you become another jaded cop.

and you're a pretty smart chick, there are many other jobs in the
military you could do that would translate into jobs once you got
out.

anyway, either way, i wish you much luck and success and i hope and
pray you stay safe!

cops are people too i lived in a police community (or a comm with alot of police) a year or two ago and they were cool, when theyre at home but as soon as the uniform went on. and most knew i grew and i would smoke at their houses when we watched games and stuff.

l always thought u were to hott for him;) dont be affraid to date b4 you get into a relationship alot of friends make that mistake out initial loneliness.
