Nutes in soil + liquid nutes?

Hello everyone. Ive been reading tons in these forums but this will be my first thread.

This is my first grow and I started real basic and ive run into a question...

Im using Miracle Grow soil that says it feeds plants for 3 months and what not. My girl just finished her 2nd week of flowering and I had to transplant her because she became root bound. She has been on miracle grow bloom nutes since i started flowering her... I was wondering if the new soil i added plus the liquid bloom might be too much. I wasnt worried before since the soil was old and the nutes in it were dry. I just dont want to hurt her now getting close to the end. Any advice would be appreciated!

The soil with fertilzer in it is normally a Vegetive fertillzer...the first number will be the highest 10-5-5.....Avoid using soil with fertilizer already mixed in it for Flowering then adding more fertilizer you will burn your plants.....use sterlized soil with no nutes in it if you are going to transplant right before you flower

When you buy a bag of fertilizer, or dirt with fertilizer premixed .... it usually has a set of numbers that look something like this; '10-5-15' or '10-10-10'.

These numbers represent the levels of major nutrients contained in the fertilizer represented as 'N-P-K' or 'Nitrogen-Phosphorus-Potassium'.

Nitrogen (N) percentage is the first number. This is a primary nutrient that makes the plant grow.

Phosphorus (P) percentage is the middle number. This is a primary nutrient that encourages rooting, blooming and fruit production.

Potassium (K) percentage is the last number on the bag. Potassium helps plants to resist disease and aids in hardiness.


For vegitive growth you want high first number ...for flower you want a high 2nd number low first

What do you think about dilluting the nutes heavily and increasing slowly until signs of possibly nute burn then back off a tad?
I dont want to stop helping her bloom but if I have to I will...
