My plant is 12" and on the bottom leaves look like their burnt, brown or sumthin idk im new to this any one have an idea what i can do to fix this or what wrong with it.

Do you have a picture? maybe not enough light or to much. maybe to much ferts, are you using ferts with fert balls for extended 3 month supply?

No, im using miracle grow, and yesterday i moved the light up higher. Im going to transplant it into weaker soil soon.

next time you fill out a form just copy it and paste it into your post and put your answers in BOLD please.

are you using calmag+ (or molasses)? distilled water has none of the micronutrients in it that say your tap water does. why not use tap water?

also, a pH test kit is a must! you can get a pH pen on ebay for ~$25. you can get a freshwater aquarium kit that will fill in until you can get a pen for ~$6, with pH up or down (whichever is needed, probably down) for ~$3. the last two can be found at any local pet store.

those are the cotyledon. basically they are food storage for seedlings. it's not uncommon for them to die off.

as far as the lights, you want them between 1-4" of your plants. they are showing signs of stretch.

you are going to need calmag+ or molasses. how come you don't use your tap water?

And on the little plants their is a little bit of it on the top, and on the big one it has a little on the real first set of leaves is tht ok
