Anyone else get the feeling that we may witness the collapse of the American Empire in our lifetime? The Soviet Union collapsed, why can't America? During the last civil war we witnessed two competing economic systems in one U.S.A.: slavery and capitalism. When that hybrid economy broke down, the union ended (at least temporarily).

Now we're witnessing a hybrid Marxist/capitalist bohemoth on wall street run amok with the U.S. economy. Meanwhile China quietly holds a quarter of our foreign debt and enjoys a huge trade surplus with the U.S. as U.S. demand provides markets for Chinese manufactures. Wall street corporations then outsource American manufacturing and american jobs to cheap for cheap Chinese labor and wall street banks pour investment reserves offshores into foreign investment.

And when this system of gradually dismantling the U.S. industrial base ends up having real world consequences last year, what does the government do? It pours trillions into the same banks that caused this mess without doing anything to regulate where our tax dollars are going!

Now that these banks have paid back the loans, they are once again free to cause the same sort of disasterous lending strategies unabaided! This is no way to run a political economy, its bad marxism, its bad capitalism. We're all screwed!

It's up to us folks, as a unified whole, as individuals. If things do collapse ( and they have to eventually ), people will get crazy, and other's will stick together and take care of each other. It will be interesting to see what comes of this. I feel like the potential for mass anarchy exists, but so does something much more beneficial and real in the end. Getting to that end will require a lot of ugliness, but so be it. The world will turn as it turns, I will do my part to make it good for those I can.

Its actually a simple concept but will require enormous sacrifice and thats to just get back to the constitution. The origiinal constitution written by our forefathers had everything in it that our country required. There is nothing that needed to be added or taken away. No patriot would ever have considered changing it.
If we can just allow the states to run there states the way they want without federal intrusion and as long as no state passes a law that violates the US constitution then our society could continue for many more centuries.

Ive watch 100's of people die on camera bum russing stores for food and the store owners fending them off with their pistols. That is just a small part of what a collpase would be like. Think it out. Look up fema's website, look at the presidentail directives. He becomes full fledge dictator and by law can seize your home, vehicles, force you into labor camps, sieze farm equipment, everything all under "continuity of Government" Think about the stores in your city. Once there looted, thats it. No more resupply. No fuel going to farmers tracktors to harvest large fields to feed millions of people. You either plant your own little "victory garden" and live off your stored food or you starve. hunting wild life is a joke, with in a month the deer herd would be completley extinct. Unless you lived in the remote mountains of alaska or the rockies. Maybe nothing happens. Maybe it does. lets look at the basics here.
Your looking at 6 months of food.
cost of six months of brown rice and beans ~$120
Cost of a surplus bolt rifle $100
cost of 500 rounds of ammo 80 bucks.

Ask your selves why dont you have these things when they cost next to nothing? You can upgrade as you go as I did or just go all out and get good shit, good gear, a modern military rifle. How can you be talking about starting to change things If you havent taken the responcibility of being self reliant to a degree If you succede.
