2 of my plants (now about 11 days old) it appears are too weak to hold in the pots, they have fallen over but the roots are still down in the pots if you get me.It appears that the stems are too weak to hold the plant upright..what can I do about this?(b.t.w,I have been bending the stems as it says in the FAQ's).I'm worried that my plants might die or something if they continue to be bent over almost fully.
I will post pictures when I get a chance..

You shouldn't try to bend or LST small seedlings. If you plant is only 11 days old you jumped the gun bigtime here. LST and bending of limbs are usually done further down the road when the plant begins vigorous vegetative growth.

You need to find a way to prop your plants up straight before they do die. Use a bent paperclip or a long twistie tie or something but get those babies back to straight up for another month or so before you mess with it again.

One of the plants just died (as far as I can guess anyway)the leaves shrivelled up and the stem shrunk in width greatly, the whole plant just kind of curled upon top of the soil..the rest looks like there may still be hope though..hmmmm I hope I get the hang of this :wtf:

You can start by less mutilation and more watching. Try NOT to do things that can stress a plant until you have the hang of growing one that is healthy first.

Don't reinvent the wheel, or put the cart in front of the horse, or any of those other adages that fit.

Keep it simple.

take a straw and cut into 2 pieces. put 2 pieces side by side and put a twisty tie on 1 end of straws. carefully put newly created brace on either side of plant but not so far into the V of the straws to pinch stem. put a very small fan on to give a VERY gentle breeze to help strengthen stems. price of a twisty tie and a straw? FREE!!!

did this happen just above the soil level? if so, it could be pythium (although many different fungi can cause this) wilt aka damping off.

try to keep your soil within one inch of the top of the pot. if not air can stagnate and contribute to the problem.

brace it and put a small output fan on them just enough to make them wiggle a lil and within a week you wont need the brace anymore

bury them up to the cotlydons. (First set of leave)
Should be fine that way with out bracing
