Goodness, there's a bobcat in my photograph

In taking a picture of a thunderstorm, I was later surprised to find that within my picture was a bobcat, sitting and observing my every action..last night in the same area we also saw running in an unfenced field what appeared to be a large black cat..I've always heard talk but never myself seen even a bobcat here in OK..perhaps I can score a picture of a black cat to send to the oklahoma wildlife department, cause they just think it's impossible for them to be here..you know, cats probably wouldn't go somewhere that there's food to eat, right??

That doesn't really look like a bobcat to me man, maybe you're just sketchin balls. But if it is, a) that's fuckin awesome and b) that's kinda scary. I'd try and catch it and tame it before I called the wildlife department, but that's just me.

By the way, I love looking at and taking pictures of clouds too. Here on the prairies we don't have much else to look at. Tornado alley has been shifting north so there's been a few twisters in my area too lately. I'll do my best to snap a few pics the next time those clouds roll in. They're insane.

It's very amazing how different it can become in a matter of minutes..weather wise, and cloud wise..

btw, this was about twenty to thirty minutes to sundown, hence the shadows, which is why really just the silhouette, and the glare from the eyes are most noticeable..I have seen a lot of cats in this particular area of the photograph..nature in just about every aspect is purely magnificent..glad I started smoking pot..it makes it even that much better :)

and you're certainly correct about tornado alley...hasn't been many tornadoes here this year..people further north and east are going to have to improve warning systems if they aren't already...when I was in oklahoma city if there was a tornado warning within the county the sirens sounded throughout the entire county, annoying but might just save your life, never know

Sure it wasnt a cougar or a mountain lion? Bobcats are usally colored. They actully attack people quite often too. I read a story about a guy getting jumped by one in a north american hunting mag a while back, out in the rockie and it knocked him over. It was mauling him and he had to dispatch it with a rock to the noggin.

I've seen a lot of bobcats in this area...anything bigger wouldn't have been able to hide in the ditch like that near as easily
