They will start budding when the daylight time starts to shorten, which is usually within the next month or two. Maybe you should have LST the shit out of them to keep them short.... Oh well, live and learn right?!

Smokers.....will try and get some current shots today. It rained this morning so I gotta wait for the bush to dry up a tad before I work my way in. Here's a couple of pictures from 7/27....

not neccessarily. Just depends on the strain and locale. I started my ladies on May 1st and planted outdoors the second week of may, they're 5ft tall and 1 week into flowering and we're at like 14 hours in NY.

thats true.. I live in kentucky.

i have 10 nice females that started showin signs of sex for goin on 2 weeks now. Some were slower than others but they are all sexed out now. I was surprised, because its usually the first of august here when they sex out.

yea the plants dont need 12/12 to flower. I Dont know why every1 says that. They start flowering once the photoperiod starts APPROACHING 12/12 varying with strain and location. Predom. sativa strains probably need 12/12 to start flowering especially if they are from tropical or equatorial regions where the photoperiod is always right around 12.

They should at least start showing pre flowers soon tho.. they look nice

Hear are what outdoor 6 footers should look like.....3 X 3 holes with compost, chicken manure, top soil, vermiculite and coffee grounds...100% natural no chemicals... water everyday day, bottom prune at 10 weeks and watch them grow. These are started from seed in May and put in the ground after they are a foot tall.....a couple are already 7 feet tall...I average 14 ounces per plant.
Grown in Northern Cal USA P.S. Started flowering July 20th...I harvest by October 1st every year...Enjoy
