I grew these plants from seeds I got from a friend and he didn't know what they were. Can anyone please identify them from the pics below? The first two pics are of one plant and the next two are of a different plant. I think they are from the same strain, but maybe not. I did get the seeds from a friend. Please help. This is my first grow and I would love to know what these ladies I'm growing are.

Nope, can't ID strains from just looking.

How do you tell the strains then? Sorry these are the pics. And I would like to know what some of the experienced growers think of how they look. I would appreciate it.

Looks great and leans towards Sativa domination so if its good genetics it should be potent. If its unknow bagseed you might not like the results.

No he it was seeds from good genetics. that I know for sure. He just can't remember what. I thought Sativa's were the tall thin ones and indica's were the bushy short type.

Plant number 2 picture is what I looked at, just kinda based on fan leaf shape appears to be 60%-70% Sativa influence. You did a good job keeping the light close to minimize stretching.

Yeah I have the lights at eight inches from the canopy. The plants love it and the lower buds are still within the eight-teen inch range so they are getting enough light to produce as well. as a first time grower I have to say this is the most fun I've ever had doing anything.:D

Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones who encounter no problems. Best wishes

look. its definatly an indaca or mostly. most strains are named by its phisical characteristics. keep note of smell, colors, flowering time, or even how much crystals cover certain parts of the bud or leaves. then get online and look through pics on a seed bank site.that will get you close

Thank you for taking the time. Since the last time I posted on this site I actually had a harvest and the consensus is that it is either Northern lights or Northern Lights number five. Again thank you for taking the time.
