Very nice place. Good selection of meds. Picked up some hash plant diesel, J1, and some chocolope. All were great but the chocolope is outstanding. Spicey and sweet with a very nice strong Sativa high. Very nice staff who answered all my questions and made me feel at home. Also, I received a very nice FREE thick glass pipe for spending over $100. IF you want quality meds at a fair price check them out. Thanks Trey and Gary!

I stopped by for the first time on Friday. Nice folks and good menu. I was looking for an uplifting sativa and the Purple Queen recommendation was spot-on, as was the assurance that it wouldn't be sedating (it isn't). Beautiful dense sticky buds with a sweet-spicy smell and taste. The Cherry Kush is the opposite end of the spectrum, a heavy indica. The warning on this strain should read "Do not operate ANY machinery after using", I had trouble working my electric toothbrush after medicating with it! And it does have a distinct cherry scent. I'll definitely be back - especially if the Chocolope shows up again :thumbsup:

South Sacramento Care Center does accept Medicann cards, but you should always carry a copy of the original letter that you have received from your doctor on you at all times in case you are stopped by law enforcement.

Couldn't wait, stopped by on Sat. Menu is pretty close to what was posted on 9/25, I think Purple Kush was penciled in on the top of the board. I grabbed the new White Wreck (White Widow x Trainwreck) - super heady and a bit psychedelic, don't try to balance your checkbook after medicating with this.

I'm sorry I did not get the menu updated last week. I'm glad you stopped by. That White Wreck is a very strong sativa. I was tripping after I smoked some. We have launced our web site, but there is still work to be done on it. Eventually we will have an updated menu on the site w/ pics of the medicine. I recently received my recommendation and this is the first dispensary I visited. I asked the budtender to recommend a strain for settling stomachs and she sold me nite which was good, but a heavy indica that made me sleepy. I went back today and asked for something more sativa dominant and the budtenders were very knowledgeable and helpful. This time I bought the Jack Herer strain, I just tried it and it works perfectly. Just what the doctor ordered. :jointsmile: SSCC has good quality medicine as well as good customer service going for them. :thumbsup:

This was my first dispensary stop also. It's in a light industrial area, which was nice and low key, plenty of parking.

All the choices are laid out on a big board with prices, which makes it easy to compare when you can see all the strains at once.

The staff was quite knowledgeable, and obliging to show me many strains. We talked indicas and sativas, vaporizers and edibles. I selected Double Strawberry Diesel, White Rhino, and some particularly potent White Wreck.

The DSD has a beautiful scent and clear-headedness about it, very uplifting for an indica, good relief of the blahs. The Rhino was hard-charging and a good un-winder. The White Wreck challenged me with its wiry intensity.

Good experience, will be back. :rasta:

Stopped by yesterday to check out the new Trainwreck and Jack Herer. Both looked and smelled great. Ended up getting the Herer, which is very up and stimulating, with long-lasting effects - good stuff! If you are looking for something that is a bit more dissociating and psychoactive I noticed they still have the White Wreck, which is excellent.

For those of you that remember the Lavender Kush that we had a few months ago, it is back! For those of you that don't, you need to come and check it out. This is Master Kush crossed w/ Lavender. It is A+++. On a scale of 1-10 it is a 10. The Kush is dominant, but you get a subtle taste of the Lavender. Hurry, this will not last long!!!

I have been going here for a couple of months now. I really enjoy the knowledge of the staff. The location is quiet and the other co-opers are also quiet drawing no unnecessary attention. It is off the main street and discreet. There is a waiting room and I have gone when it is busy and when it is slow. Stopped by last week and had a good visit. The menu was looking nice with lots of choices. Went with the Lavendat Kush and Plum Wreck. The Lavendar Kush nugs are some nice looking buds, Master Kush buds with a slight lavendar shade to them. Nice meds with a good balanced head/body high. The Plum Wreck is a nice sweet version of Trainwreck. Nice Sativa head high. Hope to be back soon, keep up the good work guys!
