How can I raise the humidity in my room? It gets as low as 30% during the day cycle.
Any simple tricks?

put trays with water around the room so as the water evaporates....lower the ventilation a bit....that's all i can think of as cheap alternatives of a humidifier :)

if your flowering, you might want lower humidity. the plants produce resin to protect themselves from drying out. some people lower the humidity on purpose in flowering for this purpose.

30% is OK. Pest do like it warm and dry so keep a eye for them.

Thanks guys...
I have a humidifier, but can't really put it in the closet I'm using (it'd get a bit too moist!)
I wasn't aware that plants may dig on the low humidity. Nice to know. And thanks for the info on da bugs.

Controlling the RH level (Relative humidity) is part of good insect and fungus prevention and control. RH measures how much water is in the air and is very important to healthy plant growth.

Rarely does one need to raise the humidity... if it aint broke, don't fix it..
