Hello, my plant is finally close to completion shes on week 7 and is Pot of Gold strain.
The issues is shes getting spider mites all of a sudden. Theres very few and I killed as many as I could find but I know theres still some, I've been checking every few hours to find new ones walking around, including some eggs.

I read that No Pest Strips work pretty well on vegging plants, but is it safe to use it on a plant thats 7 weeks into flowering, will it make the buds harmful or somehow harm them or the entire plant. I need to find this information out asap as I'm already seeing white spots appear on leaves.

I'm sorry that I can't help you out on this timeframe, but just thought I drop a note and let you know first hand that I am well into veg. and the pest strips worked out very well. But, like you, I am about ready to flip the switch and need to know this same info. I was told that you can put the pest strips in for the first three days of bloom, but over and above that, I haven't read anything more.
Good luck and I will check back, too. :D

Spray with 50/50 water alcohol

This is a great technique, and at the greenhouse where I work, we don't even dilute the alcohol. Use isopropyl alcohol and put it into a spray bottle. Douse all of the areas where you see little f***ers and check the soil for them as well. It will require some special attention, but it will save you the hassle of having to install pest strips and is a very cheap and clean way to handle pest problems!

Good luck,

SMG

Hi matey Im coming up to a week into flower with mfg, and we noticed a couple of the little buggers last nite.
I spent 8 hours on this exact subject, and the result was "100% ORGANIC PURE NEEM OIL"
I bought some off good ole Ebay for like 4 quid (7 euros, 7 dollars) you mix a bit with water and just spray - and cos its ORGANIC you'll get no nasty effects on ya baby..
Good luck

I swear by the No-Pest Strips, the first ones by Shell, and, the present ones, from Hot Shot ... I've had one in my growrooms, for many years, and never had an insect problem ... I keep them in the same room, but not amongst the plants, and remove it, in the last couple weeks, before harvest ...
