I am from mass but two weeks ago moved to Spartanburg area of south carolina. Of the two people I've one only gave me bible literature, the other ripped me off. I smoke a ton of amazing homegrown back in mass, but being a book smart (obviously not street smart) fast talking, white guy with parted hair trying to get some diesel doesn' t work out in the south. I can' t stand this trying to meet random sketchballs to get decent herb. I'm a Yankee so I just get jerked around. I just wanna blaze chronic, but desperation is a stinky cologne.:mad:but would like to be:stoned::stoned::stoned:

Keep in mind through this struggle, your tolerance is going down. So when you do finally acquire some people skills, you'll get high as shit.

Hey dude I'm actually from near that area (Asheville NC). People around these parts are way more sketchy about it. Even than in Charlotte. You have to use slang, but once you do find someone reliable there's usually never a shortage. Prices are better where you're at than here too.

See what you mean man. I went to Asheville NC this past weekend for Belle Chere. I got in discussion with a chick from there who dumbfounded me when she set trees on the same level as herion and coke. I claimed the pills she dispenced to the public as a pharmacist, did more damage to people than my favorite plant ever did. And thats when the fight started...

haha thats crazy man I was at Belle Cher Friday!! Yeah!! See, and Asheville's like known for its bud but everyone here is incredibly sketch about it; but then again I've always heard the cops and stuff are cool about it. Like I said about Char dude I bought off kids smokin a blunt at a redlight, you can find it anywhere. What'd you think of Bell Cher??

I love that area of NC. I would have really enjoyed smoking some herb and chilling on top of chimney rock and then grabbing a bite at the top of the rock or at that little restaurant at the bottom. Very cool place and from my pov some of the most honest all around nice people,, and I am from Minnesota we can smell fake nice like a fart in a car...:cool:

Belle Cher was awesome. Asheville reminds me of amherst or northampton back in mass. Decent sized free thinking towns. I had a blast up there. The mountain drive getting there on 26 rocked. It downpoured for 15 min, zero visibility. Then it was beautiful. I've been to the mountains around here when I was a kid, and can' twait to get back up there. I love stoner hiking!!!

i moved 2 years ago to louisianna, from ohio. so i too was a yankee in a forigien land. it took me almost a year to find some good herb here, i could find schwag and midis, just no good pot. now im moving saturday back to the buckeye state.
and as far as loving trees, im a nature boy and aint found a good forest just to take a hike trough here yet. no offense to my southern brothers and sisters but i hate the south. ive lived in florida, texas and louisiana, and if i have my way i'll never set foot over the mason-dixon line again. its too hot and never snows. i understand pride in where your from and coon-asses definatly got pride. but im a yankee by birth and buckeye by the grace of god.
one tip about southerners: dont remind them who won the war. they get touchy about it.

I JUST got off 26-From Easely SC where my girlfriend lives. The weather here is always like that, get used to it. haha. It'll pour the rain and get everything wet then be beautiful. Also, NC shuts down if snow is in sight. Everyone's paranoid about it. The snow is the same way too, snow and then be like 60's haha.
I actually just went backpacking deep in the parkway and it was great-like you said high hiking is great-and very beautiful around these parts.
Don't hate on the south! Buckeye fan?:wtf:
Go Canes!!!! :thumbsup::jointsmile:

dont watch sports unless there is a motor attached to something and its being raced. so buckeye fan, not really. theyre the home team and i support them but the last football game i watched was when LSU whooped OSU in the bcs.
the only thing i really truly dislike a bout the south is the weather. i used to be a snowboard junkie. i like the snow and ice. it snowed 1 time here and was about 4 inches. was gone by noon and brung the whole citie of baton-rouge to a stand still. oh and did i mention the power was out for 3 days. then i got to deal with hurricanes. fuck that. gimme tornados and blizzards. although the huricane partys are pretty cool. on the other side i have met some really cool people and a few hotties.
