Meet Obama's Drug Czar, Same As The Old Czar

Yes, we know that the Drug Czar is required by law to lie, but given the abysmally low standards set by Gil Kerlikowskeâ??s predecessor we certainly expected better than this.

The federal government is not going to pull back on its efforts to curtail marijuana farming operations, Gil Kerlikowske, director of the White Houseâ??s Office of National Drug Control Policy, said Wednesday in Fresno.

â?¦ â??Legalization is not in the presidentâ??s vocabulary, and itâ??s not in mine,â?� he said. â?¦ â??Marijuana is dangerous and has no medicinal benefit.â?�

Most folks visiting this blog ought to recognize Kerlikowskeâ??s first bit of hyperbole; after all, this isnâ??t the first time the Czar has admitted to possessing a severely limited vocabulary. Itâ??s Kerlikowskeâ??s second allegation â?? an outright lie â?? that truly has people flabbergasted. And with good reason.

Hundreds of scientific studies in peer-reviewed journals now document the therapeutic utility of cannabis. Thatâ??s why thirteen states, encompassing more than 25 percent of the US population, have legalized the physician-supervised use of pot. To add insult to injury, the Drug Czar was visiting a medical marijuana state (California) when he made his asinine remark.

Then again, the Kerlikowske is stunted by his limited vocabulary. So perhaps he is unable to read the findings of the hundreds of studies presently available in the scientific literature. But is that any excuse to deny what is taking place in front of his eyes?

For instance, a new study published in the Journal of Opioid Management just days prior to Kerlikowskeâ??s foot-in-mouth speech affirms:

â??Clearly, there is a growing acceptability of the therapeutic practice of medicinal cannabis use amongst organized medicine groups. â?¦ Estimates indicate that in 2008, approximately 7,000 American physicians have made such authorizations for a total of approximately 400,000 patients.â?�

So which is it Gil? Are more than 7,000 US physicians really all just snake-oil salesmen? Are 400,000 US patients actually just suffering from one massive placebo effect? Or are you sir, just like your predecessor, simply full of sh*t?

Yeah read this yesterday. Pretty disappointed in Gil. He doesn't set policy or laws anyway so he's just talking out his ass. Congress can legalize it if they want and I guarantee you Obama would sign the bill because it would be tied into something else he really wants. Lets hope the WW2 generation dies quickly so we can start getting this country to move forward for a change. Yeah I know thats harsh but its true.

At the end of the article I read and posted on another thread, Gil has a 37 year old son that was busted in Florida for marijuana offense. Maybe he has an other ulterior motive and reason to damn marijuana. He believes it took his son from him. Either the father is one big asshole or the son has no redeeming qualitites. I would prefer the former since he's stuck in the Dark Ages of Reefer Madness. :jointsmile:

Yeah that does sound a little but more then harsh but I don't understand what our veterans have to do with marijuana not becoming legal or decriminalized..? Drug czar? how about the science Czar running the pentagon that just came out with a Huge government text book that sets the legal peramiters and guidlines for political motion. It clearly talks about human eugenics and forced vaccinations, forced abortations, human steralization, chem trail spraying(I love to wake up in the morning go outside and breath all the heavy metals in the air. aluminum, mercury, litium, borium. Yeah I agree with you on the chem trials.. I see them quite often out here in the desert more then I did in the city itself.. So why are they spraying more in a less populated area?? :wtf: They're also spraying that shit in deserted areas like I have said the desert..

Yeah like I have stated above I live in the Arizona desert.. for those who know or have visited Arizona I live in Apache Junction.. The water out here is so nasty.. the tap water in the sinks and the water/ice machine from the fridge has so much hard water build up I hardly believe it "Just" hard water build up.. Another thing that you stated about sodium fluoride its in our tooth paste to "Prevent Cavities".. A lot of it is naturally in our foods which is okay because our body needs it or use to back in the day when we didn't have all the stuff that we do to this day that replaces all the stuff that we didn't.. but too much of that shit and your going to the hospital.. But I cannot get over the fact on how nasty this water is out here in this area.. I have never seen so much hard water build up in my entire existence so far.. This also recalls a incident that happened in my state I don't know if the news broadcasted it but the water wasn't being "filtered" well enough and two young children drank that water from the gallon that they had filled up with tap water and they both died.. the family sued the city and boy I'll tell you they got money but money is not going to replace both of their children.. :mad:.. But does the city or state really care? Do they even recall that event anymore? I highly doubt it.. only a true patriot would care but a true America patriot would never harm another American soul regardless of the situation..well.. to an extent but you understand where I'm coming from.
