Ok guys and girls, I have a question for you. I currently have 3 sharksbreath growing in a closet garden and they are clones from the same mother plant. Now, these 3 have been under 24 hrs of light since they were cloned and have had absolutely no dark periods what so ever. They are about 6 weeks old and range from 9"-15" tall. The thing is...they are flowering, just a little but there are definetly hairs. What am I doing wrong? I even bought more lights with higher lumen output hoping more light of better quality would push it out of the flowering stage but they're still growing hairs.
My closet is approx. 2 1/2 feet deep by 4 1/2 feet long and I am providing 15,000 lumens with fluorescent tubes. I keep them about 2-3 inches above the plants since the tubes don't give off much heat. All 3 plants are totally bathed in light. I don't think they will be overly tall as they are an indica heavy strain.
Is it possible that this is maybe a recessive trait with sharksbreath strain rearing it's ugly head or am I f*@king up somehow? The guy I got the clones from said that he got the mother as one of a bunch of clones and that he doesn't recall any of his doing this.
