i love the herb and luckily for me i am fit and well so smoke purely for the stoned aspect of this wonderfull plant, this got me thinking that this site is meant for medical users so really i shouldn't be part of this community and should leave it for the medical users who this site is intended for, thats why all the changes and new rules were introduced. but if all the recreational users left would this site die?
to all those that use this fine herb for medication i wish you well.

Whether you realize it or not! Consider this-

Cannabis prevents the formation of the amyloid plaque that is a major indicator of Alzheimer's.

Cannabis lessens the damage if you have a stroke.

Cannabis lessens the damage if you have a heat attack.

Cannabis can delay the appearance of symptoms in ALS (Lou Gerhig's disease) and perhaps extend the patient's life span.

Cannabis can slow, perhaps halt, the progression of MS.

Many people take antioxidant supplements- cannabis has powerful antioxidant properties.

Cannabis reduces the incidence of diabetes (so far it's been shown only with mice- but humans and mice usually react the same to medications). It also slows diabetic neuropathy and retinopathy in humans.

Hebrew U. Researchers Find Cannabis Can Strengthen Bones (article title)

Cannabis slows atherosclerosis and lowers blood pressure.

Cannabis slows/ kills and stops the spread of several types of cancer.

The cannabidiol in cannabis may be effective in preventing Bovine Spongiforme Enzephalopathy (Mad Cow Disease)

Cannabis can kill MRSA bacteria.

All Cannabis use is medical, whether you realize it or not!

I rest my case!

(Enjoy your meds! :stoned: )

isn't relaxation therapeutic to the mind and body? if laughter is the best medicine, can't my occasional fits of nonsensical giggling be seen as the proper balm for this soul lost in an uncaring world? long before the call for medical use went out, we knew this humble herb healed us in myriad ways and could feel its strength whenever we inhaled its heady fumes. we live in an ailing culture, where degradation is accepted as the norm all across the globe even though so many of its cures are within our grasp. who has ever been more in need of an altered frame of mind and a slightly skewed point of view?

i was here long before these pretentious changes and, though i might disappear from time to time, i plan on being here for a while yet. unless, of course, the powers that be are determined to eradicate such carefree souls as i.

Heh, well I don't have a medicinal card, but I do consider my use to be for pleasure and medical reasons. Helps me get to sleep at night when I have bad insomnia.
