Extracting hash oil from cannabutter

Ok, so I made way more cannabutter than I really care to use or consume and would like to know if there is a way that i can extract hash oil for smoking from the butter. It seems to me that there should be a way...Can I make a warm solution of melted cannabutter and isopropyl alcohol and then cool it til the fat solidifies and then evaporate the isopropyl? Will isopropyl or some other solvent solvate THC from the butter? Does anyone have any info or ideas on this?
