yup, it would appear that they really don't. it wasn't that long ago that this place was constantly abuzz, now it's deader 'n a door nail.

I think the big crash back in december/january kinda killed off what was left of the community. It was already dying anyway. It kinda sucks because there's a lot of stuff the mgmt could do to improve the forum and website, but i guess they just don't care/have time/whatever. Maybe they should sell it to someone that actually cares. I think what they really should do is get rid of all the accounts that are inactive and turn this forum into an invite-only board. This would allow us to converse about all the stuff that the management considers "taboo" since you'd actually have to be invited to read anything on the boards.

Don't blame it on the management not caring.. No one else cares either. And it's probably a good thing because as fun as it is to be part of a forum community, it's a lot more fun to not spend all of your time posting shit on a message board. The internet is great but it's no substitute for real human contact. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

It's not that weird at all. I like CSI Miami but that doesn't mean it's always is good. You can always expect David Caruso to overact and do some stupid move with his sunglasses as he looks sideways at a suspect as he delivers a cheesy one liner but I still like it. In fact, I look forward to his overacting. If you watch 24 it's been the same story line for every season. Terrorists are going to strike at America through the help of a mole and there's not just one mole. Jack will be right but no one will listen to him and they will get in his way, family problems complicate the main characters' acrs, CTU will be attacked, someone gets a Presidential pardon, a terrorist will escape a CTU perimeter, Jack's cell phone battery won't die and gets great reception, and in the end everyone will go "Wow Jack was right." Of course if they listened to him to begin with the show would be 6 or 12 and not 24.

These boards are cyclical. There's always a slow down during the warmer months and more activity during the winter. People are out getting high and going swimming, laying out, or on vacation. Don't try to push this all off on management as the boards are what you make of them. I guess management is also responsible for content as well as running it?

In fact, you will see fewer thread closed or deleted than about 6 months ago because most people have learned what is acceptable and not. It's not that hard to post things that are interesting and follow the rules. If you are having trouble maybe you should put the pot down for a second.

Wow..honestly I wasn't expecting this much feedback..especially from the top honchos :thumbsup: But I have read here and there that the forums are kinda dead in the summer months..hopefully things will kick it into gear because I was starting to like this forum a lot more then any other forum I have ever been on :jointsmile: I think we just need something very strong to talk about even if it doesn't have to be about marijuana or medical subjects. I suppose it'll just take time eh? But thanks for the feedback because I was a little concerned as to why it was dying down after I had signed up..I thought maybe it was me because sometimes I go on a post frenzy :dance: if ya'll haven't noticed..haha
