yeah.. trying the FIM is an act of straight greed.. If you have practice plants, it wont hurt (in some cases) to TRY..

i followed the instructions and picture guidelines to get surgical on my kids. my cuts were similar if not identical to the the cuts shown and described.. however all of my cut plants are battling the stress of the loss of new growth. They're, i guess, in their final stages of recovery and instead of 4 new shoots. I still have 1 shoot, on each plant.. All this cutting managed to do was slow and stunt the growth of my kids (i coulda been 1-3 more nodes in by now), and setback my plans 2 weeks and counting. If you want to top your plant, thats noble-- go ahead.. But don't try extra trix with it like FIMming unless your a professional.

the cut growths are coming in, fan leaves are like 1/3rd the size of what they normally would be.. the new growth is coming in, in tact.

the only plant i can clone at this point was the one that was injured and topped by the 42w.

i just hope i didnt jinx the gender development..

my other 2 headed demon, the one i considered retarded.. ended up STILL being RETARDED! Yes, it did end up topping itself but now it has 2 retarded heads. One growth looks like lettuce, with just 3 leaves, and the other growth looks SEMI normal. With the retarded lettuce side, i see some problems with the growth, and it appears as though its starting a new shoot in between to replace it? idk man..

My LST one, the only one i didnt cut up, pulled a superman and pulled my plastic twine off the tape.. i find it now with a twisted stem spiraling to the side and one set of fan leaves on the top node, just one branch.. wtf?

so given my bad luck, i germ'd 10 more as backup... Of the 10 I germ'd, 3 ended up looking normal.. The others, RETARDED and stunted! They're making the least progress while the 3 better ones are working steadily on their 2nd node.

i'm losing strength..

1st grow, i lose power for a week while on vaykay.. DOA..
2nd grow, mowed down
3rd grow, male
4th grow, simply doesnt want to work with me!

When I purchased seeds I got three different strains. I'm really glad I did, because one of the strains (and the one I was most excited to grow) just... sucks at growing, putting out shoots, rooting, cloning.....and bud production. What I get...is very good; but compared to the other two strains....it's hardly worth the effort and space in the flowering zone.

The best, most prolific, easiest to grow for me has been : Big Buddah Cheese.

I have taken clones at harvest and had them grow and go on to produce great. The momma plant is amazing. I don't need to take (70) clones at a time...but if I did, she'd give me (70) every two weeks. When ever I've topped or FLimed any of that strain it has worked and produced very round bushes with many bud sites (questionable if that's a good thing).

Anyway...my point is that if all I had been growing was the "Church", I'd think I was awefull at this and it wasn't worth the work and NUTES, and electric... Church momma's....on a good day I can get 7 clones from a plant that if 4 ft tall......and so keep the faith and maybe try a different strain
