Migraine headaches and Medical marijuana?

For the past year or so i have been getting these splitting migrainge headaches that put me on my ass. I work somewhere where I have to talk to customers and be nice all of the time and thats not possible to do when my eyeballs feel like they are poping out of my head and i'm seeing all sorts of colors and flashing lights(its called an aura, I get them at the onset of the headaches and its like im hallucinating). I havent gone to the docter is a year because I don't have medical insurance and I am cheap as hell. I don't feel like taking pescription drugs and getting addicted to them and personally i don't believe in taking pharmacutical drugs. Are migraines a valid medical condition that is treatable by medical marijuana in washington state? If it is what do I have to do in order to get it? Help please

thank you soo much storm crow, i contacted sentry medical through cannacare and they told me that i need to see a doctor as soon as possible and get my migraines documented and after a couple of visits for my headaches I bring my records to them and they will happily give me the right medication. I am only a couple of doctor visits away from having my own organic medication that doesn't have a list of side effects two pages long. You are awesome and my new best friend. Thank you so much for your help

Go for it dru, get those two visits in. On the 2nd appt. before you leave, ask the receptionist to fax the notes from the last visit and this one to the thcf fax#. Wait, they take their time, but they will call you (about a week for us). Other than that, no problem...............

sweet i need to do it it soon as possible because my headaches knock me on my ass. I just got a new job and i can't be taking days off all of the time because i get headaches that make me hallucinate and throw up. I wish my mom would get medical marijuana for her migraines she gets them way more often than I do and she gets them so bad that she has to go to the hospital, the only problem is that everytime she gets high she trips out and gets scared. Migraines run in families and I pretty sure shes the one I got the trait from. Which clinic do you suggest i go to?
