How far into the grow is the plant?

What method are you using to grow it?

If you make it a clean cut and put it in some sort of medium like rock wool or perlite and moisten it you might be able to get it to re-root... Do you have any rooting hormone, also what kind of additives do you have? Some things will help take the stress off of the plant and encourage rooting...

dude that sucks.. not sure how to help u on this, but answer those questions.. my initial response would be to cut and clone, is it a definite female? either way cloning might be your best bet.. this particular scenario interests me, i wondered for a while how a plant would respond to being split in half on the new shoots coming in, or down the stem like in your case (of course not all the way down to the bottom tho).. best of luck with your outcome, answer those questions so we can get bac to u faster

Need a picture on this one asap. How is it cut? Clean or kinda split? You can mend some wounds, but we need to see it to tell you if yours is a candidate.

I've had sucess with taping the split closed, and splinting the area (tying a stick to give the plant support). I actually taped the plant stalk to a light wire so that it almost hung versus having to hold itself upright. For me it happened as the buds were too heavy for the plant with three weeks left in flowering. She took a hit for sure, many leaves died....and the end result buds didn't show much growth from that point...but the trichromes did ripen.

Depending on the size of the plant and where in the cycle you could do both. Take clones so as to prune her back, but try to salvage the original.

oh...and btw....I've done it too, dropped things and crushed them...

I'm sorry for your loss
