hi there, i dont know what to do, i grew my plant in a mini greenhouse in my back garden and its getting too big for it, i cant let it out because the neighbours would see and it would be too cold at night, is there any way of changing the plant to go into flowering early or should i trim it until it naturally flowers? thanks people :hippy: keep high!

It won't start to flower until sunlight gets down to just about 12 hours a day, so your only option right now it to cut it back, as it's going to be a while before we get to 12/12. When it's finished flowering, you're going to have a plant that is total bud.

as polish said, it won't start budding until 12/12 has been initiated. you can force-flower by throwing a couple large black trash bags over the plants for 12 hours (i.e. from 8 PM to 8AM) everyday for weeks until the outdoor sunlight/sunset changes to 12/12 naturally (which wouldn't be until the end of the season).

also, you could try super-cropping your plant by bending the tops and off-shoots from the main stem. this will stunt the growth, however, by the time budding season comes around the super-cropped branches will be much stronger and capable of holding massive buds. in other words, by doing this you'll have fewer and larger buds rather than lots of little buds.

12/12 isnt set in gold its just a general rule used by INDOOR growers.

the days have been getting shorter for almost a month now depending on the strain they should start to flower soon.

GET A PEICE OF WIRE (with plastic coating) bend one end of it into a hook shape and wrap it around the main stalk about 3/4ths of the way to the top.

anchor the other end to a stake in the ground and SLOWLY bend her over, twist the wire enough to lower her top a few inches every few days
