Hi guys,
Is it illegal for me to give a medical marijuana patient a ride if he's holding but I don't have a prescription card at all?
I would be driving in this situation, he has a valid card.
Thanks.
EDIT: Under California law. Forgot to mention that.

it shouldent be, just make sure he says that you were his only way to get the medicine as his car is in the shop. Now if you smoke it with him and get caught thats a diff story.

Just to be safe, rearrange a way to where ya'll both agree if something does happen, you had no idea it was on his belongings. If you do travel in a state without MMJ they can arrest ya, as far as I know. If your in state, then you should be fine in most cases.
Just watch out for the homeless!

His stuff should be in the truck of the car then it will not be an issue.
He should also be carrying less than the legal limit being a card holder just to be safe.

Depends on the cop. If he wants to be a dick then he can say it's yours and arrest you. But then if he's cool, he just might let you go.
So it's 50/50 but I wouldn't take the chance.
