Is mankind really coming to an end?

I just wanted to say this first, I don't know if there is another topic post about what I'm going to start because I don't wanna sit here and waste my time looking to see if there is something like it or similar haha :thumbsup:

Alright we all know this is the year 2009..I hope we all do haha :jointsmile: Now the whole rumor about the end of times 2012 is becoming a huge conversation starter these days, whether you believe in it or not I'd hope you'd at least read the rest because this is not what this topic is completely about.

Now you all have heard that Micheal Jackson passed on, that same day Farah from the old Charlies Angels passed on that morning just before Micheal did. Now we all know that her condition was terminal but two famous celebrities leaving in one day in two different places kinda make me wonder and think, think a lot!

Recently Billy Mayes passed on too, you know the annoying oxy-clean commercial pitchmen that we have seen for years and years?? Also he was stared in Pitchmen that new t.v. I believe it was programed on MTV?? I don't watch t.v. that often. Anyways even all before of these well known people I can only recall one person that passed on months ago his name was Paul Newman, also there we're I believe a couple more but I can recall right off hand.

Could all of this be coincidence? or is there really something going with our best friend we call Fate?? Is everyone who is worth living faking their deaths and everyone is playing it all off as if He/She died so that they can go into hiding for some reason that we all don't know what for?? I know people die every single day, and it has been like that for years we all know that, you basically are born to die. But such in recent times there has never been so many well known people who have died within such a small time frame. I'd sure like to know what is going on. This all could be just Fate playing the game that it's been playing for years, or maybe it is something a little more then what we're "Suppose" to know :wtf:

Sometimes the thought ponders in my mind. In a way I kinda believe the whole 2012 thing, but at the same time I don't want to believe it. Maybe it's because I feel I have still a lot of life to live and it would suck to have it end in the next 3 years. Then again at the same time it was said that Y2K was supposed to be the end of all computers working, cell phones going on the fritz. Basically it was supposed to be a "technological doomsday." That was a fluke. :wtf:


Yea, it (in the better sense) blows that these celebrities die, but it was definitely fate/coincidence. Coincidence in the part being that it just so happened to be some people that are known to the public eye. Fate comes into play for me because I believe everything happens for a reason. It was there time to go, ya know? Maybe even a little bit of karma (not any one [celebrity] in particular) ?


Plus, the world gets more and more populated every day. So with more people comes more death. I mean there has been wars and controversy (btw countries/unions) for decades, it's not like it was peachy keen for the last 100 years. Funny, no matter how much one may try to "help" somebody else, the other side is never usually satisfied. Power hungry government officials and other higher stature who are always looking for the easy money without wanting to give in return. They love leeching taxpayer dollars :cool:

(I find it more interesting to talk to older people then myself and in my generation because I am very so interested in a lot of things that life has thrown at others like yourself before I came about, gaining information is more knowledge to the brain so therefore it can be passed down throughout mankind. Alright thank you sir!! I just opened all of those links and book marked them into my favorites so that at a later time when I have a wild hair up my ass to read and gain more knowledge (Which is more likely for me in doing so) then I will do so!! :D

And I'd hope your son is just as intelligent as I or more, because as these days go by soon after turning into months to years which will become the near future, things are going to be getting tougher and tougher and this generation (that I am) and the next generation (which will hopefully be my children in the years to come) will need to gain as much wisdom as possible in order to survive and hopefully can and will positively change the world as we all know of it. We can make change but it takes a lot of good people in doing so. Nope I am open to everyone's opinions and beliefs, when I was younger I was thought to be an atheist but I choose to change into a better person recently and found faith for personal reasons. I'm not religious what so ever, there are too many of them and too f**ked up, they lead people into other directions then what I believe that the lord has asked to do. the theory behind the whole 2012 phenomina is that on december 21 2012, the ancient mayan calender comes to an end. the reason behind this is unknown, but many speculate it is because it's the end of time. now, everyone knows that the mayans were brilliant in math and astronomy but could they really predict the end of the world from the positioning of the stars?

on one hand, this very same mayan calender is actually more accurate than the modern day one we use in terms of predicting the length of days, months, and years. But on the other hand, this is the same civilization that A) believed that solar eclipses were a monster eating the sun, and B) believed that the new white visitors from spain were gods.

If you want to go deep into theorys (me and my girlfriend spend many nights smoking and discussing this at our apt.) it can all be wrapped up into one millenium long explanation. because i am stoned and have nothing to do, ill spill what we have decided so far.

Human beings are by nature not a physically dominant species. Thats not to say we are physically incapable, just not even close to the top of the list as far as physical prowless goes. Yet somehow, we have all but taken over and destroyed the entire planet. Humans spread across oceans, lakes, deserts, jungles and successfully survived. Also, since the beginning of time, man has believed in a higher power and witnessed unexplainable phenomina in the skies. Egypitians, Greeks, Aztecs, Mayans, Incas all have pyrimids. The materials and labor force nessisary to build these by hand, not to mention the expert educated craftsmanship and construction knowledge would have been impossible is most every case of pyramids being built. Most of these pyramids line up with stars and other things of astrological importance creating a sort of navigation system for aerial craft. Human and alien interaction has occurd in the past as well.

One thing nessisary to sustain an exploding human population was a steady food supply. One crop has sustained humans since the beginning of time and that is corn, or maize. While recently taking a bio class at the CC, i learned something interesting from my professor, the origin of corn in only theoretical, no one really knows where it came from, and it dosent natrually occur anywhere on earth because it is an invasive plant that fights for soil nutrients and water. within a few hundered years without humans corn would be gone. now i know your reading this thinking "he has lost his mind who cares where corn came from?" well untill recently, we thought that corn came from a hybrid of 2 plants: Tripsacum grass of south america and the teosinte plant of central america. The problem is that these two plants do not genetically mix in nature and would need human (or alien) intervention. But wait, humans didnt have this ability of gene minipulation untill much later, so either corn was a hybrid food source created by aliens in exchange for SOMETHING from man kind, or ancient humans were practicing gene minipulation.

Me and my girlfriend have pretty much decided that aliens need something on our planet. They also need our planet to be healthy and alive to produce what they need and so they wouldnt take it by force. I believe that thousands of years ago aliens made a deal with the current pharos, kings, and emperors of the days giving them much needed technology and knowledge, and they will return soon (possibly in 2012 based on the mayan calendar) and claim their half of the deal, who knows what it would be. is it possible our forefathers sold us out to be condemned? 2000 years sounds like a long time when your making a deal with someone but the time is coming.....maybe:rastasmoke:

Yeah I've already seen both trailers, I think it is going to be one of the most epic movies to ever come out in theaters soon. The CGI is incredible :thumbsup:, it'd be best to go to apple's website and what the HD video trailer for it!!

But even if this 2012 is to be true, how did the Mayans foresee the future?? Supposedly the Mayans died off or people claim that they have no idea where they went in all honesty..let's say they died off and the Mayan calender was not completely finished. Still to this day for how intelligent humans are we are still not that intelligent as we think (we still can't figure out the human brain to a 100% :wtf:). What if there is more to read from that calender but we aren't that bright to understand it?? Maybe 12/12/2012 cwill bring about the complete understanding of the human brain, or even the discovery of the encoding of a soul in DNA. The Mayan calendar could just be a countdown to the return of the alien race(s) that provided us with our technology, or it could just be that the creators set a goal for "lets at least get to 12/12/2012, and we can start on our next project."

A quick side note, did anyone watch that one documentary about the book "Chariots of the Gods"? Interesting food for thought.:thumbsup:

If we get past this whole end of the world thing, we are going to see a lot of shit go down in the next 50 years. Think about what's happened in the passed 50 years.. in the grand scheme of things we haven't even had electricity for that long. Maybe there's another unknown power source we are completely oblivious to and haven't tapped into yet. Maybe that power source is the key to this planet's survival because we are going straight into the shitter at this rate.

The one thing that scares me about all of this is the natural disasters that have been happening at a more frequent rate and on a much bigger scale. I'm not just talking Katrina and the tsunami and that shit. Here in Winnipeg there are two rivers that meet right in the middle of the city, the Red and the Assiniboine. In 1997 there was the worst flood ever (dubbed the Flood of the Century) and everyone got flooded and shit, it sucked. The researchers and scientists and people with degrees of all sorts said that was the worst flood that would ever come. This year the rivers flooded again, worse than in '97. Something must be throwing off the earth's balance to cause all this. I think that something is Planet X, the gigantic mass at the edge of our solar system that NASA has known about for the past 30 years and just never really told anyone that it's about to swing back through our orbit. If we get past this whole end of the world thing, we are going to see a lot of shit go down in the next 50 years. Think about what's happened in the passed 50 years.. in the grand scheme of things we haven't even had electricity for that long. Maybe there's another unknown power source we are completely oblivious to and haven't tapped into yet. Maybe that power source is the key to this planet's survival because we are going straight into the shitter at this rate.

The one thing that scares me about all of this is the natural disasters that have been happening at a more frequent rate and on a much bigger scale. I'm not just talking Katrina and the tsunami and that shit. Here in Winnipeg there are two rivers that meet right in the middle of the city, the Red and the Assiniboine. In 1997 there was the worst flood ever (dubbed the Flood of the Century) and everyone got flooded and shit, it sucked. The researchers and scientists and people with degrees of all sorts said that was the worst flood that would ever come. This year the rivers flooded again, worse than in '97. Yeah I do agree with you on one thing, about the whole weather that has been changing..there is something odd going on and I don't like it :( But I suppose there is nothing we can do..even if there was a possibility to grab everyone on this forum, meet up in person and start making things right that still wouldn't be enough. This country let alone the world is so far up its own ass I think something higher of some sort is pissed off for some reason. I guess we won't know until the day comes eh?? :jointsmile:

If we think of the Earth as a living entity It is just fighting back. I have seen many things in my 50 years, what is about to happen will shadow what I saw.

My Granmother told me long ago that the wolrd had been coming to an end sense she was alittle girl and her Grandmother told her the same and that the world would be coming to this end, FOREVER. Kind of spooky , whitchy but maybe true.

Wish I could still be here after the next fiddy and burnin a fat one but I doubt it. I bet it's still illeagle in that time too.

There's a movie out there explaining that it's not the end of the world, but the end of time, or age in this case. Something about the stars and constellations moving, can't really describe it well :stoned: but anyways I'm not too worried about it.

Hey man being high is an okay thing..I'm of course just look at this forum hahaha :thumbsup: But I myself could care less if its legal or not as well I would like it to be decriminalized for medical use, there are people in America who really need it and they are getting busted for it from the damn DEA :wtf:

But indeed, 2012 might be a good sight to see..of course while being high..if it does come down to it where we are going to die well I'm dying high and happy..if its a new change for a new age well then I'll still be high to see it happen :jointsmile:
