I woke up this morning grabed my indoor plant to check it and I accidentally broke the top of the plant clean off. will my plant be ok will it regrow that if I go to 24hr light or if i stay on 12/12

how far are you into flower?

the plant should be fine regardless. if it's early into 12/12 it may actually top the plant. it could also herm the plant (if you know sex and it's a lady).

I am 3 weeks into flowering

the top won't grow back. if anything it will re-route the auxin to the next lowest auxiallry bud primordium, thus giving you two main colas as opposed to one. this is what topping does.

keep your eyes peeled for "nanners", aka a hermaphroditic plant.
