So, was there any physical evidence of these allegations? Last time I checked, never was proven and if he did do it, then we must pray for his soul. Just because he MAY have done something doesn't make his music no good. Name one person who is at his caliber as an musician? There isn't one. MJ is the King of Pop, an icon, and has left his footsteps in our generation with his music. So, if you don't like it you can "beat it, beat it." This looks to be a thread to remember him and mourn the loss not bash the man for an allegation. Ignorance is bliss :stoned:

Who gives two shits about the last 10 years and what he did/did not do to some little boy. His achievements as a musician will always be what I remember, not his mistakes after he "retired." I'm sure you have some skeletons in your closet that many don't approve of.

Yeah, I do agree with ya about the Hollywood "sin" life. Never understood how someone has it all and then watch it crumble right underneath them. :wtf: Like a good majority of big lotto winners, but that's another topic. I'm not saying MJ didn't don things that made people raise their eyebrow too, I'm just saying as a musician and entertainer, dude was the shit....Personal life, he's done a lot of iffy shit. Baby over guard rail was extreme. As well as turning his face to what looks to be a Mr. Potato Head doll. Maybe he did molest that little boy, but boy never ACTUALLY say he did. He was always looking to his mom and everybody around him for an answer it seemed. Like I said though, if he did it, then let God have mercy on his soul. He's OK in my book though. Then again, I don't think of the "new" MJ. I always relate to the "then" MJ. He was music and bleed music. A legend then and now and forever. Point, blank, period.....

A lot of strong statements against a man none of us knew beyond the myths and egocentricities, and identifying with Peter Pan enough to change his facial fetures to resemble him does not make one a child mollester. Think about it...was Peter Pan a child mollester?

Kinda strange only a couple accusers out of the thousands of children he brought to his ranch. No hints of any other lewd statements or behaviors twords any other child...? :wtf: If he was a pedophile, that was a lot of wasted encounters, and he showed remarkable control. If not a pedophile, he was a great target for scum. Did you know the same lawyer was used by the accusers in both trials? The lawyer could do nothing but accuse. Were there actual proof, Michael would have died in jail.

His music and talent will far outlast his accusors unproven allegations.

Rock on Michael...I'm looking forward to the release of your personal vault of unpublished works. Instead of closing the tour, wouldn't it make financial sense to just play some of that collection on concert nights? No refunds, and overall, a generous marketing opportunity.

Ahhh...so you are one of those that makes moral judgements without proof. Cool.
Nice to see where you stand, but paying off a case to make it go away is not uncommon. In fact, it's very common for both defendants and plaintiffs to settle just to make the case go away. Why spend $30,000,000 on a criminal defense, when $12,000,000 makes it go away?

Happens in the criminal world too, but they call it plea bargaining. Yet never was a plea bargain entered into on MJ's behalf, because there was no proof other than a mother selling her story, and tall tales from an ingrateful lying punk. (was caught in a couple of lies)
Were there actual proof, I have no doubt the DA would have wanted to make a name for himself by picking-up the case and running with it without plaintiff's testimony. But, the plaintiffs were more than happy to settle before a not guilty verdict fucked them over good.

Kinda sickening to think that if this really happened, a mother would rather get her hair and nails done (and back waxed) every week for life, rather than seeing that justice be done to the man that raped her child. Morals are so expendable these days, but I guess having none pays well.

Trip, you're absolutely right bro I agree with all of your funny comments. I don't know how anyone could possibly stand up for Michael Jackson. Who cares about the drugs and how much money he owed, don't let that skew your view.. he was a fucking pedophile. I don't care if he did write Thriller. There's ways to tarnish a legacy and being a fucking kiddie lover is one of them.

To me, the one unforgivable thing in the world is ruining a child's life. That should be punished by death.

The rest of you just need to stop hating on MJ. Sounds like all ya'll can talk about is the money he had. Sounds like your mad at him for the money rather than what he DIDN'T do. Like Rusty and I said before, there is NOOOOO proof that it happened, just what the media tells you. Come on guys, the media has a reputation for tarnishing somebodies name, just as they do with everything else (including marijuana). Ya'll are naive if you think he did it with not one single piece of evidence found other than a mother looking for the easy paycheck. Grow up you guys, bashing somebody after his death is ignorant and if ya'll can sit there and do that I'll be sure to find someone to shit on your grave when you pass. Better yet karma will do it all for me. I'll be sure to pray for ya'll though!

In my opinion regarding all the molestation claims, I think he was a very easy target for greedy parents/children trying to make it rich. That family that accused him in 05 has honestly done that to dozens of other celebs in hollywood. Are people like Jay Leno child molesters? No. Neither was Michael. But I'm sure most of you chanting baby rapist never knew that huh?

His upbringing certainly had something to do with how he turned out. I think he was just a giant kid, and wanted other less-fortunate kids to have the magical childhood he never had.

It's quite sad to see him go, and even sadder to see ignorant and downright mean some people can be. Remember, no matter what people thought about him, he still is someone's son, someone's father, etc.

Rest in Peace, MJ.

This man was chosen for greatness and could of done enormous good, but he chose to feed his own desires.

Most-decorated Marine pilot dies at 89
Advertisement

CLACKAMAS, Ore. (AP) -- Retired Marine Corps Col. Kenneth L. Reusser, called the most decorated Marine aviator in history and was shot down in three wars, has died at age 89.

Reusser flew 253 combat missions in World War II, Korea and Vietnam and was shot down in all three, five times in all.

His 59 medals included two Navy Crosses, four Purple Hearts and two Legions of Merit.

In 1945, while based in Okinawa, he stripped down his F4U-4 Corsair fighter and intercepted a Japanese observation plane at a high altidude. When his guns froze, he flew his fighter into the observation plane, hacking off its tail with his propeller.

In 1950 in Korea led an attack on a North Korean tank-repair facility at Inchon, then destroyed an oil tanker almost blowing himself out of the sky.

In Vietnam he flew helicopters and was leading a rescue mission when his Huey was shot down. He needed skin grafts over 35 percent of his badly burned body.

Reusser, who lived in the Portland suburb of Milwaukie, was born Jan. 27, 1920, the son of a minister.

Reusser raced motorcycles to help pay for college and earning a pilots license before WWII.

After retiring from the Marine Corps he worked for Lockheed Aircraft and the Piasecki Helicopter Corp. He remained active in veterans groups.

Reusser died June 20 of natural causes. He is survived by his wife, Trudy; and sons, Richard C. and Kenneth L. Jr. Interment was Friday in Willamette National Cemetery.

Dude, what MJ are you talking about?! If I remember right, which I do he helped raise $50 million for his song "We are the World" for the people in Africa, which HE co-wrote with Lionel Richie. Also, through his "Heal the World" Foundation, Jackson spearheaded airlifts of food and medical supplies to war-torn Sarajevo, instituted mentoring, immunization and drug-abuse education programs and paid for a Hungarian child's liver transplant. So, how the hell can you say he didn't do anything for society. If you did your research before you decided to state an opinion, you'd have known that.

No sense in seeing the man for his talents and what he gave to society.

I just think it's silly that people idolize a singer so much. Sure, he made some catchy music, but some people are just so caught up with him that they practically worship the guy, and now that he's dead, they'll light candles in his memory and all sorts of creepy stuff like he's some god. It reminds me of looking at the cereal box in the morning and seeing the organic farmer "heroes" on the back with drawn on capes. Yeah, it's noble you're farming organic, but you're not some hero because of it. Nor was MJ a hero for just making good music, but some people practically worship the guy anyway.

If only Rusty could have left out the "ignorant views" part, he would be right. Trip you're trolling and hijacking the thread. You made your feelings known and show just a little maturity and let Blaze of Desire have her thread without every other post being one from you spewing hate. It the thread was called what's your view on Michael Jackson then you could argue it all day long but I'm sure Blaze won't be too happy to see her thread turn into a back and forth arguement. This goes for Trip and anyone else with multiple Jackson bashing posts in this thread.

If you don't like mIchael Jackson then one post is more than enough and just move one.

I myself say Rest in Peace Michael, you deserve to find peace. I don't think for one second he was right in the head but I'm not sure he ever molested and kids. The 2 accusers were not the most credible people in the world. The first one made several comments about taking all his money and the second one was even worse as after he paid for a liver and kidney transplant the accuser and his family paid Michael back with what seemed to me a bullshit charge.

Think of the thousands and thousands of kids Michael was around and if he was a molester surely one credible witness would have come out, not the 2 least credible people. Money and fame can make you a target and at one point he was filthy rich and did stupid things that made him one big juicy mark.

He was a musical genius and as often the case, genius isn't too far off from insanity. Being thrust in front of a camera at the age of 6 isn''t always the best way to spend your childhood.

Musically, Michael was brillant. From such an early age he had a wonderful voice. As he got older, he became a pioneer. He didn't just sing but he danced and the dancing was just as important to him as the singing. Besides his own dancing I don't think anyone before him choreographed such a large group of back up dancers and they had to dance their ass off to keep up with him, they weren't just snapping their fingers.

He revolutionzed music videos forever. Before Michael videos were these cheap afterthoughts. He changed all that with Thriller and many other videos to follow. He started that mindset that when you wrote a song you have to go ahead and start thinking about the video. He set fashion trends (for better or worse) that people of all colors copied. He toured like an absolute madman touring to even some of the poorest places on Earth giving away hundreds of thousands of free seats. He was extremely generous, almost to a fault, giving away millions and millions and millions to charity.

He was troubled person and had his isues just like many people and I think it's quite sad that he died at the age of 50, broke and broken and a mere shell of the person he once was.

and on top of that how is it possible that SO many ppl caught him molesting children

His body guard, his chef, the boys sister, and the boys brother all supposedly caught him several times

now think... how many times has someone caught you doing something you werent supposed to be doing... it just dosent add up

That's not what I meant. Obviously I'd grieve my parents' passing. I meant that just because someone dies doesn't mean we have to respect them all of a sudden. Actually, this thread is all about paying respect to his life, not his death. Most who answered in this thread has respected his music and accomplishments for years, if not decades. This isn't a moron that had a shithole series like Heidi and Sphincter's "Boot Hill" (or whatever it's called) . Michael was a man whose carreer spanned 4 decades internationally.

If you question his talent or impact on music, entertainment, society, and all those charities he supported, you are seeing his world through malice-tinted glasses.

If you didn't understand or appreciate his music, doubtful you will understand the billions of people now paying tribute to his musical genius.

Hmmm, the music of Michael Jackson? I remember jumping on the bed, playing air guitar when I was 4 years old to "beat it". It was @ that moment that I knew I wanted to play guitar, which turned into a life long passion. To this day, music is my true love, my life. I can remember my older brother, who has been completely deaf since he was an infant, moon walking across the living room floor in front of the TV, wearing one fingerless glove. Makes me smile every time.:) The boy couldn't hear a beat, but he could mimic Michael's every move flawlessly.

R.I.P. Michael!

Wow your right FBR!:wtf: I didnt expect my thread to get like this, this is ridiculous and very immature.Whether you like that person or not, or w/e ur views may be, you should still have respect for the person passing.Someone has left this world.Just becuz i made this thread doesnt mean im a "BIG FAN" but i still respect ppl who pass, and he did make an impact in this world, everybody does in some way.
Also, im not sure who said it, but whoever said this thread waz supposed to be about the respects, bringing peace and rest to Michael Jackson waz right! That waz my goal with this thread, and whoever made the threads about Bill Mays passing or Farrah Fawcett passing, I should just go on ur threads and be immature and bash them!
So, in closing thank you to ppl that were mature and made great comments:) to others....listen to FBR and grow up and be a little more mature on these threads!
Thanx

R.I.P Michael Jackson (your music lives on:jointsmile:)

I truly doubt there was disrespect intended there, as Farrah and Billy passed in the same timeframe. And I really wouldn't blame him/her for posting it here. With the lack of respect so evident, sticking one's neck out and starting a thread to say goodbye risks ridicule and distain.

Perhaps in posting it here, he was secretly paying respects without committing to saying it in reference to Michael directly...? (ya never know)

This is the point I was trying to make... Are you serious dude? Dying does not wipe your slate clean.

Whatever I guess. Most of you guys seem to be into ultimate forgiveness so I may as well just let this fade.
