does this look like a burn from too much sun, or from nutes?

this clone was kept indoor under 24hr light i believe,(i bought it from a cannabis club). im growing her outside except when i bring her inside for about two hours once the sun goes down to give it some extra growing time at night (under 6 cfl's), then she goes back outside for the rest of the night.

the club also had just fed the clones with nutrients and i have it in miracle grow soil (all my other plants are doing fine in mg)

my question is did this happen because the clone isn't used to direct sunlight quite yet, or is the combination of the miracle grow and their nutrients that is burning it?

thanks for any help!!!!

i'm going with nute burn. MG will usually feed a plant for about 3 months. as you continue to grow you will be able to see when they need food.

don't use both types of nutes, or at least wait until the MG runs out.

that burn is prolly from a little nute burn. dont add nutes yet. also your leaves are cupping downward(could cup upwards if light is extremely close) because of light stress. if your bringing it in at night with the cfl's dont put them so close so fast. you kinda gotta temper the plants to the different light. i use to get leaves that did that and found out that i put my hid too close to fast. it eventually grew out of it but you dont want to damage any leaves. anyways stop the ferts for now and raise the light a little higher than what your putting it at. if it were an inside plant i would say you could move the light closer and closer every few hours (2 times a day) untill desired height but your transfering it outdoors all the time.

well here is the thing...

3 days ago i bought this gal from a club. they feed their clones with nutrients before they sell them i guess. also, this is going to be an outdoor plant and it is outside. the only reason i bring it inside is because i had my 3 other clones flower early on me, so i just give her a couple extra hours until i think i'll be safe lol.

the burn didn't show up until today (the 3rd day) and it was definately sunnier than it has been, im thinking if anything is burning it its the sun, not my cfl's i have 6 26watt cfl's and it's about 1.5-2inches away fro the highest leaves.

i am not giving it any nutrients, it only has one the club had given it plus what's in the miracle grow. but none of the other plants that are growing in the same soil has this happening.

so basically it should be okay because im not giving it any more nutrients right now it should recover yes?? hopefully = )

thanks you for your help guys, oh and i do read A LOT of the forums on here, my eyes just get so darn tired from researching sometimes that i just gotta ask the questions myself. thanks again :D

if your plant is a fresh clone you got from someone, then those tips will look burnt, but they really arnt. thats the clone using the nutes in the leaves causing it to shrivel like that. still dont add any nutes and i really think the lights were to close. the new growth looks like its already tempered.

if the sun was too strong for your plant you would get more reaction from the whole plant as opposed to just the tips.

i've seen the leaves all start to point up and taco. stuff like that. and it will usually happen really fast.
