whats up guys!!!

havent really posted for awhile but decided to log my outdoor coco grow..
I have been really impressed with the result i have been seeing from peeps growing in coco.. I have only grown in soil but wanted to try something new and see if i can get better results and if i can handle coco..
My strains are purple urkle and gods gift X blue goo i received from a buddy.. right now they have been growing for about 3 months and i have been taking clones from them.. i will try to take as many clone as i can until the end of july ...
i am using cns veg nutes and will be using cns flower nutes when its time .. i water everyday with full strength nutes 25 ml at 1gal at ph of 6.0 and flush every sunday soo far they are looking really good and i will post up some good pics tomorrow... the first few watering were rough because i wasnt checking my ph but it looks like everything is back on track and very healthy

hope you guys enjoy this grow!! i will also be posting pics of my purple urkles that are in the soil outdoor also

thanks for the support support .... tradicalhabits ... urkle is one of my favorite strains to grow.. ive grown it many times in soil and im stoked to see how it comes out in coco... im going to keep taking clones off of the urkle and ggxbg ... anyone know what temps are to high for the clones because it has been extremely hot the last couple of days and i hope they arent getting affected by it ... my temps have been jumping between 85 - 95 :( ... well ill have some pics posted tomorrow... also tomorrow is day 7 for the clones and i should be seeing roots pretty soon :rastasmoke:

bickey, it looks like you have coco under control. Good luck with the clones - you're lookin' at some serious numbers, eh?

I'm just starting to mess with clones too. I haven't had any luck with anything in a humidity dome though, as the temps here coupled with a humidity dome would result in a pressure cooker - pure steam. (I had quite a few non-mj seeds that were boiled in their shells.) I'm finding though that if I keep more water in a bowl with the clones, they're doing pretty good - humidity stays high with the evaporating water but it's not contained/restricted in the dome.

Keep on rockin' it out there!

hey jake nice to see you stop by eh? i dont have a problem with humidity in the dome just some high temps.. i hope to see some roots some though... anyways heres some pics ...[

i cannot believe the difference between coco and soil.... my mothers that i put in soil the new branches only have like 3 sets of leaves ... the new ones one the coco plants are huge like at least 3 to 4 times biggers.. its just amazing how much faster they grow in coco... well i took some pics again today hope you enjoy :hippy:

the only thing is when i do put them outside they seem to die with in 24 hours

Then maybe they don't need to go outside....Plant them all into SOLO dixie cups and let then introduce them to the outside a little bit at a time until the plant "hardens" to the suns rays. Kinda like how you would with seedlings starting. You don't want them in direct sunlight, but you want them to have some during periods of time. Then again, I've never grown anything outside on purpose :D I've thrown some seeds outside a few times and they just grew on their own. Didn't have to do anything, but water every day. I think all the ashes and shit from the firepit (hole in the ground we burned wood in) we had them in. Were nice, until I brought them inside and they hermie on me :) This was back before I did my research and had any clue as to what to do with the plant! Good learning experience though. Sorry for the rant! Hope your plants make it!!!

hey guys wondering if some one can help me out here .. got something going on with my coco urkle... im not postive what it is but i think its either magnesium or calcium... or maybe its nute burn not sure

im using full strength of cns17 bloom 2-2-3 and full strength sweet..

i jsut switched to full flowering nutes 2 days ago.. i was using half veg and half flower for 1 week like the bottle says in transition phase.. anyways heres the pics

I might say that your solution is too strong. I've never used that mix, but I'd flush it then switch to 1/2 strength nutes and see how it goes. Maybe urkle is a bit on the bitchy side?

bickeybammer
07-28-2009, 05:22 PM
soo it looks like i got my problem solved... the cns 17 nutes were really lacking in cal and mag.. soo i switched to flora nova bloom 4-8-7.. and the coco girls are loving it... i wish i could find my cord for my camera

heres some pics with my camera phone :(

i super cropped 2 branches on the urkle to open the middle up to some lighting

so far so good joe!.. i watered 2 days ago when i transplanted and the coco is still moist and heavy .. im gunna see how long it takes for the pot to dry up... i hope i dont come home later today and its dry.... im going to cut my nutes back to full strength every other watering ... also since it takes this long for the pot to dry up i can save some money on not using so much nutes..

my 2 urkles in soil are doing good excep one still shows no sex!!!

smoke report on the skunk erkle...
me and my roommate took one bong rip ... and we smoke more then your average person i would say and we only buy from the clubs soo we smoke good stuff everytime...anyways after the bong rip we tried playing some ping pong.. the high was intense i kep forgetting what i was doing but somehow was doing it like my reflexes took over and my mind was wondering all over the place... i can hardley remember last night... it defiantly came out better then expected for flowering soo early .... has a nice fruity smell and taste i havent had a urkle smell or taste like that one yet.. but it came from the same batch of seeds i have... very impressive.. :rastasmoke:

well i have some bad news... because of the smell of this plant my parents told me to take it down... i guess their friends could smell it when they would go pass their house.... its about a week early ... all brown hairs but all cloudy trichs with a couple amber at the top of the big nug... it could of definitely used another week to purple up and let the trichs turn amber .. she started showing hairs about 60 days ago
