I was jsut reading this article someone posted on ozstoners forums Becoming 'Granny Storm Crow' - Salem-News.Com (http://www.salem-news.com/articles/june202009/granny_crow_list_6-20-09.php)

I was wondering why you didn't post the link to the new site? Granny's List (http://cannalink.org/granny/)
Instead of the plain list? It's a lot easier to use that new one.
I love the new site!

There are some problems happening at the "new format" site, which should be resolved soon- shouldn't take too long. The list is still up and functioning, so it really won't make that much difference if you need to access it.

The "old format" site's list is better for making print-ups and, I feel, better for "blowing minds". The new format is sweet (Thank you, Michael!), but hides the sheer number of articles (over 1,200/90+ pages printed up), where as the old just goes on and on and on until the mind is numb! Each format has its purpose.

Now what is going on with the article? Well, Dr. Leveque printed an article about my list,

Medical Marijuana Use: Miracle Medicine Good for Dozens of Diseases - Salem-News.Com (http://salem-news.com/articles/may262009/marijuana_treatments_pl_5-26-09.php)

and so I contacted him. He has "sweet-talked" me into writing a series of articles this summer. "Becoming Granny Storm Crow" was the intro article of the series. Another article is in the works.

I don't want to come off as a total egotist, so I didn't post the article all over the web, even though I think it is pretty good. Pushing Dr. Leveque's article was one thing- pushing my own work is another. Some kids at another site found it, though, and put it up. And Jack Herer, a friend of Dr. Leveque, is posting it too! :jawdropper: (Now that blows MY mind!)

So I'm sort of at war with myself on this. I feel I have valid and important points to make, but I don't want to seem "full of it" either! I'd appreciate your views on this- I am not sure what to do!

I think your list is one of the most valuable and informative elements of the medical cannabis movement. Its pretty hard to refute the facts and truth, but our politicians sure find a way to do it. You are a valuable asset yourself and keep up the good work. Some day, hopefully, you can come out of the secret hiding place and get the rightful recognition you deserve. :twocents:

go for it granny stormcrow! you've done alot for the community, definitely not "full of yourself" or a "know it all"

even though you could possibly "know it all" about medical mj but government begs to differ

I'm sorry I didn't see this post earlier. I applaud and support your efforts wholeheartedly and feel that you are doing very important work. I have always found your writing to be modest and insightful. I have shared this article with others, as it is a good segue (sp?) into the medical research without being overwhelming.
