HI ALL!!
I spent the weekend watching the FOX coverage of the Iran situation.
I will have to give FOX a big high five on it!!!
They had the most coverage I saw on it.
I also went to their forum to discuss it, there were a lot thoughts on how the President should handle it.
Things got a bit off topic, this seems to happen in public forums.
It was not long until I noticed my post were not being posted!!
Some were, but, any mention of the FNC "Grassroots" Tea Parties just didn't show up.
I understand there is no comparison of the GRASSROOTS IRAN situation, and the GRASSROOTS Tea Parties, especially if you put the FNC in front of Tea Party. As Fox did in their programing.
I understand it must be an embarrassment to have it pointed out that one GRASSROOTS movement may change the world, and the GRASSROOT movement they promoted did nothing.
Censorship from a network that has a claim of being "Fair and Balanced" is a little tooooo far right for me!!!
I go to FOX for the counter argument of almost every opinion I have on politics.
I will keep watching to see what dumbass thing they say next!!!

i usually watch fox news for my news but they just OVERKILLED This story wowwww
of course i support the people over there and i hope that president is taken out because he rigged the election but COME ON they are acting like this is world war 3 or something
i would be furious if some iranians were yelling at americans about their election, but at the same time alot of the signs i see on the streets are in english, i want the iranian people to know that 99% of americans are with them, BUT WE CANT HELP THEM! SORRY
yeah, I think Obama is handling it right. Its like Shrub Sr. said if we had gone and danced on the Berlin Wall during their re-unification revolution then maybe the Ruskies wouldn't have been so cool. We all want to meddle and help germinate a new democracy and put an end to the Ayetolla Asshola's state but we have to be a bit stealth about it I guess so as not to hurt more than we help. Or at least that is what everyone says, maybe they are all wrong. :D I kinda like that Gilligan gets the vote of the poor and rural folks, as opposed to the other guy who seem to get all the know it all college hippy vote. :hippy:
Obama's speach in Cairo may have had an impact in Iran. If so, I say . . cool. Why not go to Korea now and give a similar speach? If it were me I would give it from the DMZ and then go take a leak on a statue of that little dictator dude, but thats just me. :rasta:

Well... when Al Gore won the presidential election and had his place taken by Bush with the help of media (the same fox news if i remember it right), nobody in the world questioned it nor thought about intervening on the usas defrauded elections.
So, any usas intervention on the (supposedly defrauded) Iran elections would be preposterous too. Obama has problems enough to take care in his own contry, and doesnt need to meddle on other countries problems too.
^ the Russians offered to help us out that year.

coehlo is frequently mistaken ... it's a trait shared by Liberals, and no amount of explanation helps ... they lack common sense ... nothing personal, he always seems to be a nice person, otherwise ... Liberals tend to be 'nice' people (but, 'nice', doesn't get things done) ... :D ... I seriously doubt Obama will finish out his term, even his fellow Democrats are realizing, he's in way over his head ... in a couple years, he'll be impeached, and the Dems will help give him the boot ... :smokin:

I hate to disagree IR. When was the last time the dems gave one of their own the boot? I have come to the conclusion that the den politicians would excuse anything a dem pol does, including murder. The end justifies the means in their mind:wtf:

you may be right, I'm sometimes guilty of 'wishful thinking' :D ... if I was Obama, I know I'd be awfully nervous, to have Hillary and Bill, watching my back :wtf: ... :D

Yes!! If you remember, the dems did not even allow any witnesses to testify during Bills impeachment proceedings in the Senate for perjury, and voted not to convict even though he admitted it.

I must agree, to a point.
He was voted in and that is how our country runs.
If you don't like it get a better candidate than the one that sung, BOMB BOMB BOMB IRAN!
SORRY BUY A CLUE, century 21, not 19!!!

Well... statisticaly i would say that we liberals are wrong 50% of the time. But thats ok, cause it means we also are right (and our oppositioners are wrong) 50% of the time...
they lack common sense ...
Common sense is a very relative thing... not much long ago, common sense said that Earth was flat, and at rest at the center of the universe...
nothing personal, he always seems to be a nice person, otherwise ...
Why, thank you! Few are the ones who can distinguish between the ideas one defends and the person one is...
