Ricoh 35mm are pretty good for a beginner, good price, can prolly get one on ebay for 25 usd or so.. I've had one for 15 years and haven't had to repair or replace it once. Seeing a Ricoh xr7 for 24.99 on ebay right now

almost all cameras are 'good' these days ... the only thing I can say with certainty, out of all the cameras I have owned (a LOT), the only cameras, lenses, etc., that malfunctioned, were the 3 different Minoltas, and several Minolta lenses, I owned ... I will NEVER own anything by Minolta, again ... mass-produced junk

I really don't know why you want a 35mm film camera if you are a begginer. It's not the stone age anymore. I would recommend getting a "cheap" digital camera. How much are you willing to spend?

by that reasoning I guess we can tell all other artists such as painters that it isn't the stone age anymore go buy a cheap graphics program, maybe paint shop or something?
