very well-planned setup, it's obvious you did your homework  ... most newbies plant their seeds, and THEN try to figure out how to do it :D ... how large is your growroom (square feet) ? ... :smokin:

Thanks man. My grow space is about a 5x5 area. Ran into a few issues with ventilation originally, but I got that 1000w under control.

Well originally when I installed my 1000w I thought a inline 425 c.f.m fan dedicated to air cooling the lamp would be enough, but temps were still far from optimal. I then got a dedicated ac for my grow room and I also created better ventilation by creating a exhaust port and installing a 250 c.f.m inductor. All these things make it possible to keep temps to 76 degrees during lights on and 68 degrees during dark. Efficiency in air flow went down when I added my carbon filter but temps are still good.

You've got a nice looking setup there, SRH, very similar to mine. I'm interested to see how things turn out for you.

It's been a while but i felt like posting some pics of my ladies. These pics were taken on day 34 of flowering.

The last pic is a top pic of my groman, the rest of them are my BlueHog ladies. I see some slight spots on the plants as you can see from the pics that I took right before lights came on... I was thinking maybe very slight nitrogen deficiency or possibly lack of some type of micro nutrient (magnesium would be my other guess). Other than that my ladies seem to be doing quite fine, and from the looks of it I think I will be harvesting my Groman plant maybe two weeks or one before my BlueHog is ready for :rastasmoke:

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated guys, this is my first grow and I am still trying to learn all I can :D

wow man, looking very nice!

What size outtake do you run? I'm stuck with using a 4' dryer vent, (unless i want to do major house modifications) and im struggling to push enough cfm to keep my 1000w cool..

I use a 425 inline c.f.m valueline fan for air cooling my 1000w but that wasn't enough to cool the temps in my room (I also have a 250 c.f.m blower exhausting air out of the room). Without the dedicated ac my temps would stay at 82F-84F, with dedicated it stays at about 72F-74F and drop them about 8-10 degrees at dark phase.

So no one had any comments on the spotting on my plants?
Any suggestions, I already let you guys know what I think it is... any opinions?

I would say give em a shot of cal-mag back of the N and now would be a good time for a switch more over to the p/k side...your plants look generally healthy though good work on a first go

i second the cal mag, nice grow

i thought you were in my room until i saw the DWC buckets, I love the room setup, i had to get an ac for my g too in the summer any way. if not i would stay about 84F now at a breezy 74 and always a beautiful day in seshville

Be sure to remove that HotShot about 4 weeks before you're done. They do work excellent for spider mites.

Thanks everybody for the kind words, I'm doing all I can to make "the dopest dope I ever done smoked". I backed off on the N and added calmag as well. next res change I'll probably bring the pk a little more. I'll keep you guys posted.

Hello everyone, I just took a few pics before lights came on yesterday and decided to get everyone's opinion. I have backed off the N by reducing my dosage by half and have also increased my PK levels. I have also added an extra 10ml of calmag in my 12 gallon res (I disperse the 12 gallons between two buckets in my room). My plants seem to be spotty but overall healthy.

Suggestions are welcome :hippy:

This is day 43 of flowering:

The first pic is my narliest bud on the blue hog. The other two are blue hog and the last one is my little groman. My groman beauty is already being flushed with RO water because of its milky trichromes... ready to harvest in about a week :rastasmoke:

Cant wait to start drying the grom

bummer, I was hoping for some pro feedback :[

i would start flushing both of them until time to harvest! plain water some sweet and molas and your set ... but definitely back off the nute! have you been checking your ph?

Supportradicalhabits
07-16-2009, 02:58 AM
yes I have been checking my ph. I check my ph 2 to 3 times a day... bare minimum is once before lights go out and once as they come on. I already started to flush the groman, but the blue hog trichromes dont seem mature yet. also I have two blue hogs per bucket, the one that I would assume you think is ready for harvest is in the same bucket as another hog that is definitely not ready for harvest. Any suggestions (groman trichs are fully formed and blue hog are still immature).
