I'm helping to organize protests across the United States to advocate the legalization of marijuana. There are already many people planning on attending these protests everywhere were they are already organized. The protests will be on Thursday, July 2, 2009.

For information on protests in your area, please use one of the following resources:
- The Squid List (http://laughingsquid.com/squidlist/events/)
- Things to Do in Dallas - Dallas Event Calendar (http://www.going.com)
- local event calendars and discussion groups

The efforts are just beginning so, if you cannot find any information on anything in your city, please help to organize a protest in a public area that you believe will be effective. Get the word out about your protest by posting to one of the above websites, telling friends, and contacting your local media. Please do your part in bringing about fairer marijuana laws in the US!

DO NOT bring any illegal drugs or paraphernalia!

Mods please sticky for more support!

Should one be organized in Washington besides Hempfest, I'll attend, but you can bet I'll be holding and firing up as an act of civil disobedience. And I won't be alone in my actions.
