I found something very interesting. According to this study you can get 100% females from marijuana seeds by growing them in a nitrogen-overdose soil, but they will wilt and die shortly after sexing. I wonder if this could be used to increase your female-to-male ratio if you were to give a good flush after several weeks. Also the seeds grown in a nitrogen deficient solution were all males. Here's a link. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=12&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.plantphysiol.org%2Fcgi%2Frepr int%2F11%2F4%2F731.pdf&ei=lQo0SrKZNs2ktweS0qn5Dg&usg=AFQjCNEGGhKcgxfKjXtoz5ifX75dOqlB0w&sig2=RhoHyRL5dOwv6EpL2mYbTg

On "Sister Mary Etienne Tibeau" "Time factor in utilization of mineral nutrients by hemp" and "Paul J. Talley" "Carbohydrate-Nitrogen ratios with respect to the sexual expression of hemp". They got about 75% males or females by fiddling with soil composition. 3 out of 4 ain't bad! Ya gotta love the "oldies, but goodies".

Storm Crow, I think you're real cool. :) I'm happy you are the first one to reply to my post. I can't wait to get some bud off my little girl in my growlog, I'll smoke a doob for ya. Check it out, there are three experiments going on, one, to see if hard, alkaline, chlorine-laden tap water has a major impact on plants compared to bottled spring water, one to see if you can tell a plant's sex by whether the nodes are swollen, and another to see how much your yield is hurt by putting cuttings directly in 12/12 before they are even rooted, although I won't be able to veg clones for controls for some time yet and by then the lights could have decreased output possibly so it may ruin the study. I'm doing the experimental side before doing the control side on that one. :) My growlog is the one titled "CFL, third grow, bagseed from EXCELLENT bag (popcorn)". So far I have chopped one male, and one female has showed herself out of eight plants. I also lost one cutting, which I have made a new cutting of and am waiting for it to root. So I have five rooted clones which still haven't sexed, although one looks like a male. I'll decide on that one tomorrow. :)
