Auto Flowering Questions

Hi Guys.

Just a question on Auto's.

Can i use HPS from start to finish, reason is i am told they wont start flowering till 3 weeks, or do i have to use MH first for the first 3 weeks?

yes, many people use HPS light for their entire grow, autoflowering or not.

The reason i was asking is, I'm planning to start 5 Autos and as soon as they start flowering I'm going to put another 5 in. Would i be better of with MH first or does it not matter with Auto Flowering strains?

Hello Snowball,

Like they said before it doesn't matter which, and HPS can be used from start to finish.
I'll go one further and say they will probably do better with the HPS.
I just switched out a 600wMH conversion bulb used in my mom room for a 600 watt HPS because I decided to try out some auto-flowers for shits and giggles. Plus went from 24/0 to 20/4 to make the autos real happy, and the moms and transplants don't seem to mind at all either.
