Ok so everyones telling me to give me plants nitrogen to make them 'better'? my question is how do i give my plants nitrogen? this is my first year grow and i just have them in a closet under 24hr lighting

It's in fertilizer.

Ok well im using pro mix for soil, does that have proper fertilizer in it or should i add more?

if you are using plain pro mix then yes you will need to fert it otherwise your plants will come to a stand still and not grow until you do feed them because there is nothing really of nutritional value in normal pro mix. You can easily get more details searching the forums or reading "the simple noob instructions for growing the dankness" located in basic growing as a sticky.

Pro-Mix is a good medium to grow in, it is very forgiving but the only thing it has in it is dolomite lime. Get yourself some simple liquid based nutrient solution, there are plenty to choose from and start feeding your plants. Try to keep the PH between 5.8-6.2 for the p-mix and you'll do just fine.
