I'm using all fox farm products soils and nutes and was wondering when I mix up a full strength batch for bloom do I......
A) Mix 1/2 strength of each to make full strength
B) Mix both at full strength
Thanks :pimp:

make sure to add the the nutes to water. NEVER MIX NUTES TOGETHER! let me clarify. you can add the nutes together in a gallon of water, no problem. but don't mix the concentrates together, ever!
i've hear some people like to use half doses twice a week for a full dose as they can run a little "hot".
best thing i can tell you is to just play around with them and see what works best for you. the feeding chart can be found on the fox farm website.

agreed, always add nutrients to the water, first  ... I generally use full-strength during first half of flowering, then cut to half-strength, the last half, with none the last few days ... plus, I add a tablespoon of Non-Sulfured Blackstrap Molasses, per gallon of mix, during flowering ... I like to re-check the pH, after the solution sits for a hour, or so, before using it ... after awhile, you'll start 'reading' your plants, you'll know if you need to add, cut back, or just stay the hell away ! :D

My 2 cents on the fox farm. Be careful, Tiger Bloom is hot stuff. I used half strength nutes until i got to week 9. Week 9 and on is low on the EC ( highly recommended you use cha ching btw) Just back off on the tiger bloom to about half until you know if your plants can handle more. However, your strain might be able to handle more but the salt builds up quick at full strength. Nutes, water, nutes, water, water, nutes.. works for me :rastasmoke:

Hi,
This Foxfarm feeding schedule will be helpful for you to get the ratio of nutes correct and give you something to go by. I'd mix them up as directed with the amount of suggested water and then dilute with more water if necessary to get your desired strength. I've also had some salts build up when using TB so I'd only feed every other watering and even do a flush every couple of weeks to keep things happy.
Good Luck!

put a drop of non-antibacterial soap in your flush and this will help get rid of the salts too.

Should I even use both nutes or is one better than the other??
Does one lack something the other one has???
What I am getting at is... if i work the big grow up to 1/2 strength then when it goes to flowering do I start both nutes out for bloom at 1/2 and give them to the plants in the same watering??
or would I give them 1/4 strength of both to equal the 1/2 strength that it got in veg???
Do I even give them both in the same watering???
Soil is made up of 45%/45%/10% ff ocean forest and ff light worrior with some added perlite.
was thinking about starting the nutes feeding for veg 3 weeks in.
I'm sorry my head has just been wrapped around in circles and i think i stress these things too much. But maybe not... first time grower im excited.
